We are facing an emergency situation. In just a few days, our sanctuary has been overwhelmed by a surge of abandoned pregnant cats and newborn kittens. People have even sent them on buses from other cities, and pregnant cats and litters of kittens have been left, in bags and boxes behind the Free Clinic at night. We cannot leave these innocent lives to suffer and die on the streets. That is simply not an option for us. We desperately need immediate, safe accommodation. Our quarantine is full, and without dedicated space, these mothers and fragile kittens are at risk. We need to have constructed, large, safe cages, like these pictured, to seperate and quarantine them from the sanctuary's resident cats. However, the situation in the middle east has driven the cost of iron sky-high. We are looking at a cost of between 5000 to 7,000 euros to build these essential enclosures. Every moment counts.
