CNN has a story titled “where the Harris campaign went wrong.” Nope, I won’t read it. Harris ran a great campaign. The story should be titled “where the American people went wrong.”

As per usual white women vote for Trump while Black women remain the backbone of ethics and justice for this country.

Timeline of Kamala Harris’s life as a mother 2014 - At age 49, Kamala Harris married Doug Emhoff, who had two children from a previous marriage. Cole, age 20, was in college in Colorado, and Ella, age 15, was in high school in Los Angeles. Their mother, Kerstin, did not remarry and was actively involved in her children’s lives. Harris’s residence was in San Francisco at the time, and as CA Attorney General, her primary place of work was Sacramento. 2016 - In May, Harris had reportedly “recently” moved to Los Angeles. Harris called herself a “Sangelino” to indicate she considered both San Francisco and Los Angeles her homes. In November, she was elected to the Senate. At that time, she was registered to vote in Los Angeles. 2017 - In January, Harris was sworn in as Senator in Washington DC. Harris admitted she was not present for much of Ella’s life at that point because of her work and missed her high school graduation. Ella turned 18 in May and moved to New York City to attend school at the Parsons School of Design and has lived there ever since. It’s nice that she has a good relationship with her husband’s children, but to put this relationship in the category of “mother,” without qualification, feels disrespectful to all of us who dedicate many years of our lives to caring for our children.
