@PurpyNFL It's a frightening worldview that you owe a politician an apology for not giving them the vote they're apparently entitled to

Political commentator Alyssa Farah Griffin followed Behar’s melancholy comments, describing Trump’s massive, crushing victory as “beyond Reagan.” “I didn’t expect it to be this resounding,” she said with astonishment. “And I think there are some lessons from it.” In a surprising twist, Griffin dropped an unexpectedly good take about why the American people rejected the Democrats this November. “I think we forget about rural America. I think the working class feels left behind. They feel like the powerful, the elite, only care about themselves and their power,” Griffin explained. “And he [Trump] spoke to them. We may not have liked his words, but they turned out for him. I mean, the map was beyond Reagan what we saw last night. And I think we need to start listening more to the concerns of everyday Americans who feel like this system is failing.”

@DavidShuster Exactly - Harris has room to win in PA based on outstanding Philly suburbs.

Big picture: Given the counties reporting so far in WI, MI, PA, and AZ...and the counties (mostly urban areas/suburbs) lagging/still to report, Harris is in good shape to win those four swing states and finish with 281 EV. Losing GA + NC would be irrelevant. #election2024

@Howlingmutant0 It's strange that they video and post themselves committing assault and battery against the man several times. I don't think there's a legal carve out for "I was running an unauthorized sting operation"

These videos put forward this idea they’re taking down elite powerful pedophile rings and then it’s a clearly mentally retarded man who can’t dress himself and probably lives with his mother. You get the feeling this guy would have never actually gotten a girl to meet up anyway

@wanyeburkett Yeah it's high pay but low status. Which probably confuses a lot of nerds who were led to believe they'd be impressing women once they were earning a lot of money.

@LorenCollins @ASFleischman Why are we required to accept infinity immigrants from wildly different cultures into our country? Are we not allowed to be uncomfortable with that culture shock? Do you hold any non-white countries to this standard?

@ASFleischman The Georgia Republican Assembly wants to stop all net immigration for 5+ years, then cap it at 250K per year, while also restoring the pre-1965 racist immigration law, and explicitly favoring new immigrants who are “from English-speaking countries” and “Christian.”

What a worthless post this is, literally judging Kamala Harris' qualifications to call herself a mother. In what world is this a worthwhile thing to do?
Laura Powell@LauraPowellEsq

Timeline of Kamala Harris’s life as a mother 2014 - At age 49, Kamala Harris married Doug Emhoff, who had two children from a previous marriage. Cole, age 20, was in college in Colorado, and Ella, age 15, was in high school in Los Angeles. Their mother, Kerstin, did not remarry and was actively involved in her children’s lives. Harris’s residence was in San Francisco at the time, and as CA Attorney General, her primary place of work was Sacramento. 2016 - In May, Harris had reportedly “recently” moved to Los Angeles. Harris called herself a “Sangelino” to indicate she considered both San Francisco and Los Angeles her homes. In November, she was elected to the Senate. At that time, she was registered to vote in Los Angeles. 2017 - In January, Harris was sworn in as Senator in Washington DC. Harris admitted she was not present for much of Ella’s life at that point because of her work and missed her high school graduation. Ella turned 18 in May and moved to New York City to attend school at the Parsons School of Design and has lived there ever since. It’s nice that she has a good relationship with her husband’s children, but to put this relationship in the category of “mother,” without qualification, feels disrespectful to all of us who dedicate many years of our lives to caring for our children.
