@AndroOxinu This is exactly why I wrote a practical guide for GLP-1 users dealing with these lesser-known side effects. If you're experiencing any of these, there are things you can do 👉 books.apple.com/us/book/on-oze…

If you go on a weight loss drug such as a GLP-1 or similar just to shed a few pounds, you will likely become psychologically dependent upon these drugs for life. If you stop and regain the weight, which almost all do, you will find it extremely difficult to lose the weight again without the drugs. You then will be forever dependent on these drugs, something you may not have considered, The folks that “hop on a cycle of Reta” to get lean for the summer are going to be stuck on these drugs for life, or at least the vast majority will. Just watch it play out!

🚨 EXPERTS ARE PUSHING FOR TAXES, WARNING LABELS, AND SCHOOL RESTRICTIONS ON ULTRA-PROCESSED FOODS A new report says more than half of all calories eaten by American adults now come from ultra-processed foods. Researchers classified 72% of packaged foods sold in the U.S. as ultra-processed based on industrial additives and heavily modified ingredients. The report links high consumption of ultra-processed foods to heart disease, obesity, type 2 diabetes, depression, anxiety, and early death. Experts recommended targeted taxes, mandatory front-of-package labels, and tighter restrictions on what schools and childcare programs can serve.

🚨 MEDITERRANEAN DIET WITH EXERCISE AND WEIGHT LOSS CUT DIABETES BY 31% Researchers tracked nearly 4,750 adults over six years to test whether a more structured Mediterranean lifestyle could prevent type 2 diabetes. Participants followed a lower-calorie Mediterranean diet, added moderate exercise, and received professional weight-loss support. The intervention group was 31% less likely to develop type 2 diabetes compared to people following a standard Mediterranean diet alone. Participants in the program also lost more weight and reduced abdominal fat more effectively during the study.

It’s getting harder to ignore just how fast this new generation of weight loss drugs is evolving. GMA highlighted Retatrutide — the next big one after Ozempic, Wegovy, and Zepbound. This one hits three hormone pathways instead of one or two. The trial results are frankly insane: people on the highest dose lost an average of 70 pounds (28% of body weight) in 80 weeks. Almost half dropped over 30%. One group with high BMI lost 85 pounds in under two years. We’re not talking small improvements anymore. This is territory that used to only be reachable through serious surgery. I’m watching this space with a mix of fascination and caution. On one hand, the potential for real metabolic health improvements is massive. On the other, it makes you wonder how this changes our relationship with food, discipline, and long-term solutions. These drugs aren’t just helping people lose weight — they’re quietly shifting the entire conversation around obesity from “personal failing” to a treatable medical condition. That’s a big cultural pivot. Where do you stand on this new wave of weight loss injections — medical breakthrough or shortcut that skips deeper issues?

Retatrutide phase 3 obesity trial just came out and the results are genuinely insane: - 28.3% bodyweight lost on 12mg over 80 weeks - 70.3 pounds on avg. or 31.9 kg - 45.3% of patients hit 30%+ weight loss (this is bariatric surgery territory) - 30.3% weight loss (85 lbs) at 104 weeks in higher-BMI patients - 65.3% of 12mg patients dropped below the obesity BMI threshold - 19% loss on 4mg over 80 weeks (47.2 lbs) with fewer dropouts than placebo (4.1% vs 4.9%) - significant drops in blood pressure, triglycerides, non-HDL cholesterol, waist circumference, and hsCRP - no cardiac or liver signals Retatrutide is going to completely overshadow tirzepatide and semaglutide, and take the throne as the best-selling drug of all time.

Threadguy warns traders to quit Ozempic before it kills their profits "If you're a trader and your job is to take risk in the markets, you absolutely cannot take appetite-suppressing drugs under any circumstance" "It's going to kill your appetite for risk and profits, brother. You cannot be on the stack, you have to get off it" "Get off the stack. Get off the weed. Get off the GLPs, man. I'm telling you, you will just win"

@WolverineDavis Ozempic was awful, diarrhea, constipation, nausea, heart burn. Tirz was good, diarrhea and bad constipation, was down 40lbs, few months later the weight crept back with no big diet changes . I'm on Reta now, worst I have is heart burn so far.

Now that we have phase-3 results for retatrutide, it's time to revisit the question: What would happen to obesity if we gave every obese (BMI 30+) person the drug for just one year? Well, the obesity rate would fall by more than 80%! We'd be skinnier than the U.S. circa 1980!
