As much as I appreciate the engagement with this post, I’d like to ask people who want to eat meat but are still upset with this : What else would you think is a better way to kill? Getting shot in the head? Gas exposure? Injections? Mechanical beheading? If they were in the wild, they would be bitten alive by predators, which is even more gory and painful. People will freak out over this, without realizing that the alternative to this system is a big hairy dude smeared in blood as he is slitting the throat of one pig after another with a huge iron blade. On the other hand, this electric stunning looks like an incredibly instant way to kill. If you don’t want to eat an animal that was killed, then become vegetarian like me. My point is that when you have decided to kill for sure, then any process of killing animals is shocking. Humans have been eating meat for millennia, and I don’t think killing animals can get any better than this.

Asians hating each other is well known highly documented fact. I’m not saying anything controversial. There’s especially animosity towards Chinese by nearly every surrounding Asian country. A lot of it has to do with what you showcased at the very end of your tweet, a superiority complex thats similar to Israelis. “We were here first, we gave you this culture, you’re inferior”. This attitude is always unwelcome no matter where you’re from. Not to mention the vast racism Chinese express regularly against “monkey people”. Your original video wasn’t to teach and educate others to appreciate all cultures, it was to explicitly demand people say “Chinese New Year”, when you don’t even call it that in China. The world hates Israelis- I can say this and it’s factual, not racist. You probably agree with this. Asians hate other Asians, that includes Chinese and arguably even more because of the racism Chinese express toward other Asians. People can be snowflakes about it but It’s the truth. Asians are some of the most racist in the world and my timeline filled with racist comments from arrogant Chinese showcases this.

That's when you realize some people who insist on using "Lunar New Year", and hate the term "Chinese New Year" just have Sinophobia. I don't know what kind of Asians she's hanging out with, but I travelled extensively across several Asian countries, including Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, S.Korea, Cambodia and Pakistan, I had a good time with local people, and respect their cultures. I don't feel I was hated by other Asians. Asian people in Asia are trying to build a united and stronger Asia. I, as a Chinese, call our festival Chinese New Year, it's a respect for the cultural origin, rather than calling everybody else a Chinese person. Just like we still call the language English, even though we are not English. I also recommend people to learn that in Korea, it's called 설날‌ (Seollal), in Vietnam, it's called Tết Nguyên Đán. In ancient times, they inherited this culture from China; they have similar traditions to China's, but over the years, they also developed their own traditions and rituals. This festival is also celebrated by people in Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Laos, Thailand, as far as I know, they still call it Chinese New Year. I'd also be happy if you call it Spring Festival or Chunjie. What's concerning to me is that some people clearly still want to use a culture originated from China, but desperately trying to erase all the Chineseness of it and rebrand it as something else.
