Nice sequence between fastball locations and a breaking pitch. A great win for @_ERowanbaseball with some timely hitting and great defense!

BREAKING - A Baltimore mom is receiving massive praise after returning to the same food stand her son robbed just days before to reconcile with the owner, return the money, and apologize for her son’s actions, confirming she placed him in a treatment facility.

How much of your hard earned money can Perfect Game get? The STAY TO PLAY model is disgraceful and I think people deserve the truth! Here is the actual Perfect Game lodging policy! PERFECT GAME TOURNAMENT LODGING POLICY: Stay-to-Play Requirement This event is designated as a Stay-to-Play tournament. Perfect Game works closely with the local lodging community in our host cities to provide competitive rates, secure sufficient room inventory, and ensure a high-quality experience for all attending teams. WHO MUST COMPLY Teams traveling more than 75 miles from the primary host venue are required to secure hotel accommodations through Perfect Game's official lodging platform, EventConnect, or pay the designated Hotel Waiver Fee. This policy ensures every team meets the lodging compliance minimum while maintaining flexibility in how requirements are met. LODGING REQUIREMENTS Each traveling team must reserve an average of eight (8) rooms per night for the duration of the tournament. The required total room nights are calculated as follows: 8 rooms × (number of tournament days − 1) = total required room nights *For event durations longer than 7 days, the max number of required room nights is 48. Tournament Length Required Room Nights 7-day event 48 room nights 6-day event 40 room nights 5-day event 32 room nights 4-day event 24 room nights 3-day event 16 room nights 2-day event 8 room nights Teams may choose to pay a Hotel Waiver Fee in lieu of booking through the Perfect Game lodging platform. By paying this fee, teams are permitted to make their own hotel arrangements independently. Hotel Waiver Fee formula: (number of tournament days − 1) × $200 Note: The Hotel Waiver Fee will be added to the team’s shopping cart 14 days prior to the tournament start date. BOOKING DEADLINE Deadline All required room nights must be reserved no later than 14 days prior to the first day of the tournament. Teams that do not meet the minimum room night requirement by the deadline will be responsible for payment of the Hotel Waiver Fee. If a team is found to be non-compliant after being scheduled, the team may be deemed ineligible for future Perfect Game events until the waiver fee is resolved. LOCAL TEAMS Teams located within 75 miles of the host venue are considered local and are exempt from the Stay-to-Play requirement. BOOKING PROCESS Upon acceptance into the tournament, each team representative will receive a custom EventConnect booking link via email. Use the link for 24-hour access to official Perfect Game lodging partners. Room nights booked through EventConnect are tracked automatically and will appear on your team’s Perfect Game Management page under the HOTELS section. Teams can block, share, and book rooms together at the same property, or families may book separately at different EventConnect hotels that best meet their needs. Note: There is no cost to hold a block of rooms; however, room blocks can only be held for up to 10 days before they automatically expire. THIRD-PARTY BOOKING NOTICE Reservations made outside the EventConnect system (e.g., directly with hotels or via third-party sites such as Hotels.com, Expedia, or Hotwire) will not count toward your team’s required room night total. #shegone @PerfectGameUSA @PG_Scouting @MLB @MLBNetwork @notgaetti @BobFile @twuench @billdubs @iamrags @low_and_outside @hittingguru7

Listen to what Orel Hershiser had to say on @FoulTerritoryTV Everyone is obsessed with throwing hard which is precisely why we have so many injuries but the best pitchers don’t just rare back and throw it as hard as they can every pitch! The average fastball velocity is up because so many guys are throwing max effort on every pitch! So many believe it’s because they’re bigger and better than pitchers from my era which is laughable! Guys from my era could have thrown harder if they wanted but they understood that a 88mph sinker was harder to square up than a 92mph 4 seamer that’s was straight! #shegone @MLB @notgaetti @BobFile @twuench @billdubs @iamrags @hittingguru7 @AMBS_Kernan @SalMarinello @TheRealJHair @DMEASrecruiting @mikepiazza31 @45PedroMartinez @rogerclemens @VandyonTigers @JLucroy20

Cheerwine is unique to North Carolina. Created in Salisbury, North Carolina, in 1917. It has a distinct, intense, wild cherry flavor that is sweeter than typical sodas. It features high carbonation, stronger than most sodas, and a slightly creamy, almost nostalgic cherry-candy or old-fashioned-popsicle taste rather than a fresh-fruit flavor. What is a food or drink your state is known for?

Tommy John surgery is becoming the norm for younger players—and somehow we’re acting like that’s normal. It should concern everyone… but nothing’s changing. Now 13–14 year olds are getting it. If that doesn’t bother you, you’re part of the problem.

@Carter233071409 Charlie Lefler sits down Luke Ponczka on the triple H (Helmet High Heater). Falcons strand a couple more runners but have leveled the game 1-1. We head to the bottom of the 3rd. 2-3-4 due up for the Mustangs.

@Carter233071409 @CharlieLefler08 Charlie Lefler with a BIG strikeout of Maddox Moore to stop the Falcons right there. Runners left on base starting to pile up for West. 3rd straight inning stranding multiple runners. Mustangs lead 2-1 as we head to the bottom of the 4th. Bottom of the order due up.

Of course, no “tampering,” no “poaching”…just coincidence LSU fired its coach and hired NC State’s within minutes. The USF coach warned other programs to “stay away from my players.” Then, HE was gone…so, nobody had to stay away from HIM. The double standard is laughable. Let’s stop complaining about player choice when coaches leave at the first chance for a better situation for themselves.

@4thOfJuly365 That was a force play at home, no tag attempted. Catcher was throwing to first. Runner's sole intent was injury.

@4thOfJuly365 The play at the plate looks like it was a force (bases were loaded, check the runners). Blue made the correct call.

Back out in ROCO tonight, but this time it’s for non-conference baseball action. It’s the North Stanly Comets (5-2) here to do battle with the East Rowan Mustangs (11-1). It’s always a good night when baseball is being played at Staton Field. Follow along for updates! ⚾️⬇️
