Would you look at that!! 🔥👇🏼 “Anybody’s in any kind of construction knows OSB used to be over f*cking $25 a sheet… And for the last year, it was over $17 a sheet. Walk in today, $9.71 a f*cking sheet. It dropped almost half price. Boys, this is coming from Canada… Trump is working out those tariff deals and our lumber is getting cheaper, boys. Prices are going down.”

@Jamesashields @Dearme2_ @DearS_o_n Nope. Houses that already exist are inflated to the current market. Well beyond what it costed to build them. Building materials and labor is more static. You could get ripped off by bad contractors, but if vetted properly, you are safe.

People in Maine treasure their right to vote. The SAVE Act undermines that right. I’ve fought to stop voter suppression efforts in Maine, and I’ll do the same in the U.S. Senate.

Thank you @Billybobwalter1. We continue to outwork everyone and pick up steam. IF you are an independent or republican…I humbly ask for your #1 vote in the primary on June 9th. We can turn this state around, but we have to fight the establishment together! Let’s make common sense common again!
Macaulay Trollkin 🦞@Billybobwalter1

I think if Robert Wessels becomes the republican candidate for governor he could actually sway moderate democrats. He’s grass roots common fucking sense. He’d get more spotlight. I think old school democrats are actually looking for common sense and grass roots right now.

Paul LePage is used to yelling at, and debating with people (men) who look like him. It’s time we brought someone new to the conversation. Vote for me, Paige Loud, on June 9th in the ME-02 Democratic primary so we can take on the “maga majority” head first.

@TheMaineWire The State has a crisis team and assigned caseworkers that should be out monitoring these situations. Sounds like that ain’t happening.

Government's top priority should be protecting the most vulnerable among us. Unfortunately, that's not happening in Maine. Paradise Residential is just the latest example. The company billed $2,126,503 to MaineCare in 2022, serving 12 clients. By 2024, it was billing $7,942,326 across 237 clients. Total billings over the three-year period reached $15,856,478 — a 273.5 percent increase in three years. Now they have been shut down by the state, citing "serious deficiencies," while multiple employees have come forward on the record to describe the troubled business: Appolonnia Sheppard, the former Chief Operating Officer for Paradise, started in 2023 and eventually quit the company in protest over its practices. “I used to go home like crying every day. It was so horrible,” said Sheppard. “The very first thing I saw was when I first got into the house, they had a client there who had not had a shower for nine months because they had a hot water heater in front of the shower, and she couldn’t get in. She was in a wheelchair,” said Sheppard. We'll link to the full investigative report in the replies below.

🚨 facts checking 🚨 @ShawnRyan762 🚢 Before U all buying this conspiracy, look up the USS Stark incident of 1987. 🇮🇶 An Iraqi jet accidentally fired on a US Navy ship, killing 37 American sailors (more than the Liberty). 🇺🇸 The US immediately accepted Iraq's apology as the tragic "fog of war". Zero. conspiracy. theories. & No "cover up" movies. 1/2 >>>>

“USS Liberty was an intelligence gathering ship off the coast of Egypt. Israel bombed it and killed Americans, saying it was a mistake and that they thought it was an Egyptian ship. It was flying American flags, and Israeli jets flew over it multiple times to identify it. They strafed it, dropped bombs on it, and the ship called for help saying we’re being attacked. It is the one and only time in history that another country has directly attacked a United States vessel and there was no repercussion.” @MichaelTLester

Just so we are all on the same page... There was never a housing problem. There was an illegal immigration problem. There was never a debt problem. There was a fraud problem. There was never a border problem. There was an enforcement problem. There was never a crime problem. There was a prosecution problem. There was never a homelessness problem. There was a fraudulent NGO problem. There was never a failing school system problem. There was an indoctrination problem. There was never a funding problem. There was a theft problem. There was never a healthcare affordability problem. There was an illegal alien free-load problem. There was never an American dream problem. There was a Democrat problem.

There's an episode of Beavis & Butt-Head where they sell candy bars to raise money for some thing their school's doing, but they keep selling candy bars to each other while passing the same two dollars back and forth. This is how the government and public sector operate.

Translation is just an added hourly bonus that is added to virtually every Medicaid service rendered in Portland and Lewiston. The Diversity Tax.
Recovering Woke@dnvr_is_burning

@SteveRob @GovJanetMills @DrOz @DHSgov Why would it be the government's responsibility to pay for a translator for you? It's insane all the stuff Medicaid has been paying for... no wonder costs are skyrocketing Ofc the translation wasn't even being provided

.@GovJanetMills is trying to charge me $8,325 to see contracts worth $750,000,000 in taxpayer funding, the bulk of which goes to Somali contractors in Portland and Lewiston. What is she hiding? Is this "transparency"? ModivCare is a company the Mills Admin (and many other Democrat Governors) use to pass Medicaid money to Somali subcontractors. ModivCare is non-emergency medical transportation -- but they don't provide rides; they "broker" rides. And they make more money the fewer rides they provide under the perverse terms of the contract. Under the Maine contract, ModivCare (which went bankrupt and was delisted from the stock market after Janet Mills awarded them the $750M / 10-year deal through a corrupt RFP) must submit service agreements to DHHS. Those service agreements would should exactly where the money is going (aka into the Gateway Community Services HQ). We already know that ModivCare sub-contractor money is flowing into some of the busiest hubs for Somali Medicaid fraud. We want to see all of the contracts. DHHS is asking me to pay more than $8000 to see those agreements. ModivCare is getting $750 million from Maine taxpayers -- and they have enough cash to hire "Maine Street Solutions" to protect their access to our wallets. The public deserves to see where that money is going. As Janet's fond of saying, "See you in court!"

Absolutely incredible… Trump says the climbing oil prices are a very "small price to pay"… I’d bet most Americans would choose lower gas prices at home over war with Iran.

But, wait! That’s an evil pit bull! Kidding. I’ve got three (one full, one lab/pit mix, one American Staffordshire). None of them wanted to let us out of bed this morning — scared of the thunderstorm outside and cuddling with my wife and me for protection. Great dogs if treated well.

Holy Donut - The Other Side Of The Story (Recorded call w/ worker) We contacted every Holy Donut location, and the employees we spoke with were heartbroken and shocked upon hearing the claims reported by News Center Maine. Those employees emphasized that the News Center Maine story omitted key details about their compensation and benefits package, including tip-based pay, paid vacation time, reimbursement for community volunteering, an array of benefits and insurance options, and the owner's hands-on involvement in the business. It was also pointed out that the "unsafe conditions" reported were never expanded upon, and does not mirror any other location, even the one on Commercial St - who also disagrees with the Park Ave. It appears that this is a Portland Maine problem & not a Holy Donut problem. *Troy Jackson and other Democrat Socialists personally went down to the Park Ave location to advocate the unionization - which blindsided not only the owners, but all the workers at the other locations.
