Martin Kaymer is 52nd in the 2026 @livgolf_league standings. He was 37th last year and 40th the year before. He’s never finished better than 8th in any LIV event. He just shot 67 & is currently co-leading the #PGAChamp. #predictable 😂 @Cleeks_GolfClub

There’s a mix of arrogance & ignorance from America golf people that if it didn’t happen on US soil - it hasn’t happened at all! It was the thing I found most baffling in my 15 years broadcasting golf in America. Surprised Kaymer was as cordial as he was.

Global representation doesn’t = global league. Golf is played all around the world (unlike America’s big 4 sports) & should travel to all those countries & play meaningful championships on their best courses.

Can we agree that if @livgolf_league continues as usual, with some light tweaks, we are never, ever listening to CGM reporting when it comes to ANYTHING related to #LIVGolf again? Their credibility has to be gone forever on the topic, right? The ultimate ♟️move would be to plant info to make the media look even worse than they’ve looked to date when it turns out false. That IS something I would do - use people’s biases against them. Like what the media did with BLM. 💯 Not saying that’s the case.
