The fixed pie fallacy as at the heart of many bad government decisions
MUSKOSOPHY@muskosophy
Elon Musk on value creation: “If you have a zero-sum mindset, the only way to get ahead is by taking things from others. If the pie is fixed, the only way to have more pie is to take someone else's pie. But this is false. The economic pie has grown dramatically over time.”

No offense, but I don't trust you.
I have spent the last 5 years analyzing (midcurving) this more than 99% of people in the industry and it's clear as water that quite a few tech/utility alts are still fairly undervalued while some (I agree) are really overvalued. Including memecoins.
Hell... We have BTC, ETH, USDT, SOL, and BNB as the top 5. There is A LOT of asymmetry for anyone spending enough hours to understand these projects.
Memes are fun. They agre great for culture and community building.
What is going on right now is not a memeseason.
It's a pump&dump scheme's season, driven by a small group of insiders extracting liquidity from the greater fools.
This may work in the short-term, but is not sustainable in the long run.

Trump is SEVENTY EIGHT YEARS OLD and moving like this. You can allow this to inspire you to increase your workload. I find that the body responds to the level of energy that you demand from it. Strangely, the more you set yourself to accomplish—the larger your gas tank becomes.

Love him or hate him, this is insanely impressive.

For years, @FEMA has bragged about giving billions of dollars to migrants
Now the Homeland Security secretary said that FEMA has insufficient funds to last through hurricane season
Oh and that whopping $750 for the hurricane victims? You have to apply and qualify for it
Even worse, people that are trying to help are being forced to apply for permits...TO HELP OTHER PEOPLE. If needing a permit to save a life isn't a sign of government overreach, I'm not sure what is
Even worse, FEMA is actively blocking shipments and seizing goods and services claiming them as their own. Why? If donations are not from companies on a "preferred vendor list" they won't accept them or give them to those impacted. The preferred vendors get part of the money being handed out by the government and in return they give kickbacks
Not to mention all of the illegal immigrants across the country that are getting free rent, free food and free insurance - people that are not even working and are not supposed to be here in the first place!
Our government is so mismanaged and backwards right now it makes me sick

Pepsi just acquired seed-oil free Siete Foods for $1.2 BILLION and I have been seeing A LOT of people freaking out that Big Food is going to ruin their favorite brand. Y’all need to chill out.
Big Food buying smaller start-up brands does NOT mean they are going to destroy all of the values that made them great to begin with. Here are examples to help you settle down…
🥩 Epic, makers of meat bars and snacks, was acquired by General Mills in 2016 and since then they only increased their distribution meaningfully (I can buy them at airports!), fund studies on regenerative agriculture, and launched fully regenerative products. The founders also turned around and plowed their proceeds into a legendary bison ranch and Force of Nature. @EPICbar @FONmeats
🥗 Primal Kitchen, avocado oil mayo and dressing, was acquired by Kraft in 2019 and has increased their distribution massively and is now rolling out sophisticated purity testing on all of their avocado oil. @PrimalKitchenCo @Mark_Sisson
🐓 Pasture Bird pasture-raised chicken was acquired by Purdue in 2020 and now they are having much more impact on transparency and soil building, rapidly improving their technology, and the founder @farmerpaulg is spreading the gospel of pasture-raised chicken throughout an otherwise stagnant corporation.
🍫 Hu, makers of chocolate bars, was acquired by Mondelez in 2021 and put a no ingredient change clause and now their bars are displacing other trash products in way more locations and @humankarp is running the same playbook with more brands. @HuKitchen
🐮 Vital Proteins, the brand responsible for building the entire collagen market, was acquired by Nestle in 2020. They have since dramatically improved their own manufacturing, brought the cost of collagen down for millions, and now are rolling out far more sustainable paper packaging. @vitalproteins
Just because your favorite chip brand sold to a larger business doesn’t mean they “sold out.” If anything, it shows huge outcomes are possible in the better-for-you space and that is a GREAT thing.
We are a society based on incentives. Smart people focus their attention where the money is. “Make healthy products, make tons of money” is an excellent perspective. If motivated entrepreneurs see that it’s possible to make over a billion dollars creating seed-oil-free products, maybe we’ll have better innovation in the food space and more smart people building great things instead of useless apps and AI widgets no one needs.
And ultimately if Pepsi ruins @SieteFoods and you don't like the outcome, then stop bitching from the sidelines, get in the arena, and build what you want yourself like they did over 10 years ago.
