Another guest's claims were cited by name at an official Russian Ministry of Defense briefing and disseminated through TASS and RIA Novosti. A third maintained a three-year intimate relationship with Maria Butina while she was operating as an FSB-linked Russian agent on US soil. Butina was convicted, sentenced to 18 months, deported -- and elected to the State Duma under Putin's United Russia party.
