@N8RealEstate Had appraisals that have come in high, had appraisals that came in low, at some point you have to trust your gut in areas you know.

@LantzWheeler Unstable pelvis on leg lift, applying pressure to the wrong part of the foot, poor posture in the setup, foot positioning on the rubber, there are more but most issues can be fixed before even starting the decent down the slope.

@DGratz13 Mid thigh Isometric pulls with a crane scale! 20 dollar piece of equipment and just have to figure out how to set it up to what you need. Also can do rotational isometric outputs! @billmills has done some great cost effective work in this area!

Strength coaches - what would be the most accurate low tech tests to perform to measure the posterior strength/stability, specifically in rotational athletes? We have some thoughts internally but wanted to see if others had any thoughts.

@doublexcanflex @ian_walsh11 Saying throwing is isometric then saying the spine needs to flex/extend/laterally bend seems rather contradictory given all those movements have some component (even if small) of eccentric and concentric motion

@ian_walsh11 I’m not sold on the muscle contribution being largely isometric, lot of range of motion to cover in those SSCs. But it’s something I’ve struggled with understanding fully for a while

@Csulli928 Interesting. Learned something new today. Just out of curiosity… if the arc of the Landmine creates inefficient reading, does inefficiencies in bar path also create errors in readings? Maybe just on a smaller scale?

@realkclark Has to do with accuracy of reading due to the arc of the barbell in a landline movement. I think gym aware equipment is adjusted for that

@SwagnShades It's not even really a trap bar deadlift. It's an elevated trap bar deadlift. The handles are about 2"+ higher than any other trap bar which adds over 100lbs to the lift for most guys.

One of my remote college athletes sent this in today. Unbelievable that coaches like this still have jobs. This doesn’t build mental toughness as much as it builds anger and resentment. Because most athletes are being educated in the off-season on what real training looks like.

@LanginTots13 Hey Chris, I have some questions regarding release height and vertical/horizontal break that I am not sure who to ask. Is there any chance you could DM me? It would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for much for your time.

Release Height (image below): Super important context as you progress further... 4-Seamers with big league average lift can play way up if thrown from a lower release height. A Heater with 15+ VB from a sub-5 feet release height generally deserves some delayed judgement.

THREAD: Pitch Metrics and Classifications at the Big League Level. The impact pitch metrics have on pitcher performance is far from a secret. Any org/team that cares about crushing development knows this. Hand them 4-5 metrics in real time and a summary quickly develops.

Genuinely couldn’t be more excited for this dude! Been working hard behind closed doors for a long time without getting much recognition. Excited to see where his journey ends up. Know our paths will cross again my man!

Who we surround your players with is part of our value. @nanny_daylan and @realkclark are just 2 of the high character athletes that work out with us. They are as awesome off the field as on. And we are privileged to have them be part!

One year ago today, @realkclark & @realkenclark allowed me to play a big part in their special day! Kendyl giving me the privilege to walk her down the isle after her father Tim’s passing, is a moment I will cherish forever. On top of an honor being Kalib’s bestman. I love y’all
