javascript ecosystem is too dangerous

paying $200/month for @OpenAI Codex and honestly getting really frustrated rn the app crashes almost every single time when the conversation gets a bit longer. like it just freezes completely and shows "not responding" — have to force close it and lose all context 😤 also the overall performance on Windows is just bad. slow to respond, laggy UI, and sometimes it becomes totally unusable for like 10-15 mins straight this isn't a one-off thing. it happens consistently and it's really affecting my workflow @sama @reach_vb @openaidevs — can someone from the Codex team look into this? the Windows app needs serious stability fixes. for $200 this should at least stay open without crashing lol #OpenAI #Codex #bug

@reach_vb I am claude code user but I want to port to codex user the issue is 200 dollar too much if you guys able to come up with 70 or 100 dollar sweet spot plan we are ready to jump in. I am not sure why open ai is not come up with an intermediate plan.

hey @sama and @reach_vb — any chance OpenAI is planning a mid-tier Codex plan? right now the jump from $20 to $200 for GPT-5.3 Codex is pretty steep for indie devs and small teams 😅 like a $60 or $100/month option would honestly be a sweet spot — enough to get serious usage without going all-in on the pro tier would love to know if this is on the roadmap or if there's any update on pricing tiers for Codex. lots of devs i know are just stuck on the $20 plan because $200 is too much to justify right now
