@Fearian This reminds me of Microsoft points and never just having enough because the costs never lined up with real money. 1750 points for this! But the nearest dollar amount is $20 for 1500 points! You'll end up spending $40 and have leftover stupid M$ points that isn't useful anywhere.

@HighlySpammable Most larger companies see tech artists as senior/principle level generalists that have higher ability to solve puzzles regardless of training in that subject. VFX artists touch many subjects, so they accidentally become tech artists sometimes.

VFX Artists and Tech Artists are, unquestionably, the thing I get asked about the most. I feel like the education system really hasn't caught up to industry on this one.

@HighlySpammable It’s not as easy to find good tutorials for real time VFX and such either! Yours and some guys out in India are like the only ones I find. I feel like those who become adept at the skill are getting enough work so they don’t have time to put their intricate tutorials online?
