If you have a coach, teacher, parent or mentor who holds you accountable you are blessed. Too many leaders shy away from confrontation and accept low standards with minimal expectations. If someone pushes you for greatness you have someone who truly cares about you & loves you.

As a rookie, Kobe shot 4 airballs in a playoff game. After the game, he got a janitor to open a high school gym and he shot until the sun came up. Adversity doesn’t define you, what you do next does.

It’s not about what you can do, it’s about what you’re willing to do. Average is a choice. So is excellence. Own the way you show up.
