@kimmonismus 1) everyone is free to disable DLSS For now yes, the user decides and the user is allowed to have horrible taste. The problem is when NVIDIA partners with studios so that their games rely 100% on their features with no fallback.

I seriously dont get the hate for DLSS5. Even though DLSS5 does enhance the appearance to some extent, the result is still a much more natural look. I'm well aware of the argument that this alters the developers' style, but 1) everyone is free to disable DLSS, and 2) I hardly believe that visible improvements fundamentally change the atmosphere. So far, every image has been fine by me.

@pcgamer Difficulty is also a narrative element. In an Epic Fantasy RPG the Lvl1 goblin is going to feel harder than the Lvl100 dragon because the goblin is fighting Bob the squire while the dragon is fighting Sir Robert, Champion of Men and Leader of the Company of Heroes.

@nandantwts True footage, not an ex-fighter pilot. He had to quit months later after an internal investigation and was also involved in a corruption scandal. Another "overqualified" pilot got 100 people killed at that airport in the 90s so the maneuver was not well received by the public.
