Using AI to build allllll the tooling to make everything else easier is the move. This is my release dashboard for Solo. It's all wired directly into GitHub actions. I can release to groups, do staged rollouts, the whole nine yards. And I don't have to remember anything!

Middleware is the security of your apps. Without a middleware, a person can access any page. @vercel last night, suddenly added a patch that made middlewares stop working. You can imagine how big a security risk it is. I haven't seenit mentioned even once on public profiles. Very casual email, not even a sorry for something.

So if you have 5% equity options vested over 4 years, and we made $100k profit, even in your first month you're getting $5k on top of comp. $500k profit? $25k on top of comp. For that month. I want nothing more than to bring great people in on the wins!

At Better Email, we do a typical 4 year vest with an atypical 6-month cliff. However I don't want people feeling ownership only after years of work, so we pay out dividends on profits as a direct percentage of equity ownership *as if you were fully vested on day 1*.
