@akinalabi Election is around the corner. Every politician will turn to Jesus Christ - going about doing good. Till another election cycle again. We know these gimmicks.

@Omojuwa Who else saw that coming?? Tinubu too will step down. Shetimma will fill the post. Wike will fill VP. All in the game to solidify APC and Tinubus will own APC. (Insider analysis)

Minister Yusuf Tuggar will resign his appointment today to contest the Bauchi gubernatorial position. A number of ministers in the same position have been developing cold feet, he is going for it.
- He worked without ambassadors for the 2.5 years he was minister. Found away around it. Strengthened a number of bilateral relationships despite that.
- Helped to articulate Nigeria’s foreign policy. The 4Ds Agenda.
- Regional Partnership for Democracy re-established Nigeria’s convening power.
- The Ministry was quite responsive at moving Nigerians out of conflict zones. Solid alignment with NIDCOM here.

This is what I have noticed.
Wherever President Bola Tinubu succeeds, they look away or pretend not to be aware.
All of a sudden, students completing their schooling on schedule means nothing. When every Nigerian who graduated from a Nigerian public school in the last 2 or 3 generations did so under the cloud of strikes and longer than scheduled time in school.
It’s a big deal. Everyone knows that, whether or not everyone admits it.

When this News broke out…about 2-3weeks ago, all h£ll were let loose…the false narrative spread by the younger brother who was not physically present at the FMC in Abuja spread like wild fire…
When the Hospital came out to debunk the false narratives , many “doomsday vuvuzelas” still did not believe….now this is what really happened from the real eye witnesses who were present from when the incident happened till the end….
If therr was anythg to blame for Her untimely passing…it was TIME!!!!…

@kobokolaugh You should have directed the anger to the government .This is democracy and people can vote whoever they like and be voted for. This is a pure emotional blackmail.

@Tolufat @Dlugard @akinalabi They borrow. Their outstanding debt amounts to AED112.4Billion
Source:DMO UAE.
English

@Dlugard @akinalabi Well, they dont. Since the discovery of oil...the proceeds have been more than enough for them to fund federal and local projects. Rescue me if I'm wrong with your own data or facts.

Lagos isn't the only state in Nigeria, and Yorubas haven't stopped anyone from returning to their region or states; Same applies to other tribes. Govt this, govt that, are your people not in the govt as lawmakers? Do non-indigenes govern your state of origin and constituencies? Feel free to develop your state, rather than playing the blame game.

@Gen_Buhar Please, becareful with your Russia 'ambition' o .They send people to war fronts in Ukraine o.

For the first time today, I realized that the problem of Nigeria is not leadership per say, but the opportunists nature of its citizens.
I was scheduled for an appointment at the Russian Embassy Abuja by 11am today, and somehow, I missed my way to the Embassy. Instead of the Russian Embassy, I found myself at the UN Office which had the same structure painting with the Russian Embassy. I checked my time and it was 10:42am. Looking frustrated, I asked for directions and the security guards directed me to a cluster of Taxi Drivers at the opposite side. I crossed to the other side and immediately about five of the Taxi Drivers rushed towards me.
"Oga where you dey go"? They asked simultaneously
"Russian Embassy" I responded
"Ahhhhh! Russian Embassy. E far o" one of the men responded.
"Is about two hours drive from here" the man added
"How much will you take me there"? I asked
"Oga na 30k o" he responded
My heart skip.
I was pleading and negotiating with this man to please accept 20k as I was running out of time but he stood his ground.
A Hausa man hawking orange who was following our conversation, came behind me and whispered in Hausa "Dan dai kana sauri ne, Amman akasama zaka iya zuwa Russian Embassy" (if not because you are in a haste, you can trek to Russian Embassy).
The orange hawker then instructed me to follow him. I checked my time and it was 10:49am.
We trekked few miles, take just two turns and crossed over an overhead bridge. Boom! We are at the front of Russian Embassy.
I checked my time and it was 10:57am. I could not help but hug the man tightly until the orange on his stray start falling. We chatted for few minutes. He told me he came all the way from Ingawa Local Government in Katsina State. I told him I am from Funtua local government in Katsina State. We quickly exchange contact and I dash off.
While waiting for my turn to be invited into the Embassy, my mind traveled back to the Taxi Driver I was desperately begging to accept 20k. Some of us are worse than the leaders we complain everyday about. It's just opportunity we lack.
