Three major steps we announced today to strengthen American fertilizer production and support our farmers and ranchers. 🇺🇸 🚜 1️⃣ The Blue Point Project in Louisiana is moving at “Trump speed.” Within 45 days, permitting is expected to wrap up for a $3.7 BILLION ammonia plant that will become the world’s largest ammonia plant — creating hundreds of jobs and strengthening America’s fertilizer supply chain. 2️⃣ Trump's USDA is fixing Biden’s broken Fertilizer Production Expansion Program and getting projects over the finish line. When we inherited the program, only 8 of 121 projects had reached completion. Many were stalled by red tape and climate mandates instead of focused on fertilizer production. We are now working directly with every awardee to move high-impact projects forward — including: ✅ An $80 million Washington state project expected to produce 700,000 tons annually of hydrogen ammonia fertilizer and support 200+ jobs ✅ A $3.89 million Iowa project expanding domestic organic fertilizer production Together, these projects are expected to unlock over 2 million tons of new annual fertilizer capacity, support 61,000 producers, cover 30 million additional acres, and create more than 500 jobs. 3️⃣ USDA is increasing transparency for farmers. Effective immediately, we are searching for a full-time input economist dedicated to tracking input costs and improving market transparency so we can better support America’s farmers and ranchers. All-in, the projects announced today are expected to increase domestic fertilizer production by approximately 4.5 million tons per year — serving roughly 400,000 producers and 290 million acres of farmland. This is an important step toward reshoring fertilizer production and putting American agriculture first again.

ICYMI: Yesterday on MS NOW’s @Morning_Joe, Chairwoman @RepKatCammack joined Rep. Teresa Leger Fernández to discuss the bipartisan partnership between the Republican Women’s Caucus and Democratic Women’s Caucus to address sexual misconduct on Capitol Hill. This effort is about changing the culture, improving reporting systems, protecting staff, and ensuring accountability. No intern, staffer, or employee should feel unsafe or silenced in the workplace. TX-35 Democratic candidate Maureen Galindo says she will convert ICE detention center in Karnes County into an internment camp for "American Zionists." "It will also be a castration processing center for pedophiles, which will probably be most of the Zionists," she added.

Over the past couple of decades, citrus greening has been devastating for America’s citrus growers, especially in Florida where citrus production is down 95% since the early 2000s, but the corner has finally been turned with exciting new technology that was just approved by the Trump EPA! I was in Florida yesterday with the state Farm Bureau to discuss the big news. tapinto.net/towns/pompano-…

Florida proves that states can successfully fight fentanyl and the cartels. Thanks to our investments and policies to empower law enforcement, drug-related deaths declined significantly last year. When you give law enforcement the tools they need, they deliver results. If we want to keep saving lives and stopping the flow of deadly drugs into our communities, we must invest in our law enforcement and correctional personnel.

I’m proud to chair the new @GOPoversight Task force on Defending Constitutional Rights and Exposing Institutional Abuses. We will hold accountable corrupt institutions that stole from taxpayers, abused our immigration system, crushed free speech, and engaged in illegal discrimination.

BREAKING: FedEx driver who pleaded guilty to kidnapping and murdering 7-year-old Athena Strand, has been sentenced to death. Tanner Horner snatched Athena while he was delivering a Barbie doll to her home in Paradise, Texas. At one point during the trial, jurors broke down in tears while hearing audio of Horner killing Athena after he told her to take off her shirt and said she was "really pretty." Athena repeatedly asked for her mother before she was killed. "Horner is then heard asking Athena to remove her shirt, and there are several moments when she says "no" and asks for her mom. That was followed by repeated sounds of crying, screaming and banging," NBC reported last month. Following three hours of deliberation today, Horner was sentenced to death by lethal injection.
