An eternally grateful nation thanks all who served in the Vietnam War today and always. We remember the names etched in granite on the National Mall, and we honor those who carry their legacy of bravery and sacrifice.

Hosanna in the highest! The King of Kings chose to ride a donkey over a warhorse to save the world. Happy Palm Sunday to you and your family.

We should not be picking winners and losers when it comes to securing our homeland. Today’s stopgap measure is neither a permanent fix nor does it provide long-overdue, updated levels in funding, but it does fund @DHSgov in its entirety—a proposal that ensures all of the department’s hard-working federal workers are paid and ultimately protects the American public. womack.house.gov/news/documents…

This is my third time in 63 days voting to fund @DHSgov for FY26. Yet, at every turn, Democrats won't support the bill they negotiated and move the goal post on a new deal to fund the agencies charged with protecting our homeland. It is not fair to the American people, and it is certainly not fair to the federal employees who are missing paychecks.
House Republicans@HouseGOP

For the 3rd time, Democrats have voted to SHUT DOWN THE DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY. For you, that means long lines at the airport, delayed disaster relief, and greater threats to our safety. Democrats are protecting ILLEGAL ALIENS instead of YOU!

On Medal of Honor Day, we honor the 3,538 service members who have earned our nation’s highest military distinction through exceptional bravery and heroism. Many made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. We owe these heroes—and their families—a debt we can never fully repay, and we remain forever grateful for their service to our country.

The deadline to submit your art for the 2026 Congressional Art Competition is ONE week away. Don't forget and don't delay!
Rep. Steve Womack@rep_stevewomack

There’s still time to enter the 2026 Congressional Art Competition. Each year, I invite high schoolers from #AR3 to submit their original artwork for a chance to have it displayed in the U.S. Capitol for an entire year. Artwork can be dropped off at any of our district offices by March 31. womack.house.gov/constituentser…

Today, we recognize the hardworking men and women across Arkansas who help sustain and feed our country. The Arkansas agricultural industry is a powerhouse for the nation and brings in over $20 billion to the state’s economy annually. Thank you to our farmers, growers, and producers across the Third District for their commitment to keeping our communities thriving.

Representative Stan Berry was a genuine and extraordinary soul, deeply dedicated to the state of Arkansas and to the people he served. His loss is heartbreaking to those who called him a friend and to the entire Dover community. I extend my sincere condolences to his family and loved ones.

Last week, I joined @PalmerLuckey at @WestPoint_USMA to see firsthand how the cadets and faculty there are developing innovative solutions and technology that will bolster our military might and readiness. While we were there, we also got a taste of the Academy’s rigorous cadet training by jumping into the pool to participate in combat swimming.

Yesterday, I joined 7th and 8th graders from The New School in Fayetteville for their Capitol tour. We talked about the importance of honoring the sacrifices made by our brave servicemembers by staying in school, making good decisions, taking care of their health, and being people of charity. These students’ future is bright, and I was glad to meet them on their trip to D.C.

With today's bill passage, we're one step closer to preventing arbitrary bans on lead ammunition or tackle that make hunting and fishing less accessible to the sportsmen and women who help fund the conservation of our treasured lands.
House Republicans@HouseGOP

Hunting and fishing is an important part of America’s heritage. D.C bureaucrats tried to BAN the traditional ammo and tackle used by millions of Americans, but Republicans won’t let them. In Rep. @RobWittman’s legislation, we’re codifying President Trump’s pro-sportsmen policies and PROTECTING your right to hunt and fish! 🎣🦌

I am extremely proud that my dad, Kermit Womack, was awarded the Dick Trammel Good Neighbor Award from the Rogers-Lowell Area Chamber of Commerce today. This award is the Rogers community’s highest honor, and it is presented each year to those who have contributed to the betterment of Rogers and the region. For those who may not know, my dad owned and operated KURM Radio (790 AM, 100.3 FM) for nearly 45 years. Based in Rogers, the station was devoted to covering local events across a three‑state region. To listeners, my dad was “The Colonel” and a true institution who used his platform to bring people together and be of service to his community. I was deeply honored to receive the award in 2022, and my dad’s recognition makes us the first father‑son duo to ever receive this prestigious honor.
