My wife has Lyme disease and other co-infections, but it doesn’t show up through standard antibody testing. You need a more expensive test to find it. Today I asked @SecKennedy what we can do to make sure people with unexplained symptoms are getting thorough and accurate testing

As Speaker, I made sure House Republicans did our job when we passed the $152 million to lock in the critical upgrade for the new fighter mission at Selfridge Air National Guard Base to get this done on time. Congressman @repjames is delivering in Congress too, as he testified this morning before the House Armed Services Committee fighting for the $638 million the new mission requires. But state Senate Democrats are refusing to act. State Sen. Kevin Hertel is sitting on his hands and doing nothing to push the $152 million to the Senate floor. He’s jeopardizing the entire mission, threatening $850 million in annual economic gain for Macomb County, and putting thousands of good-paying jobs at the base at risk. Michigan families and our military deserve better than partisan games. Senator Hertel needs to get off the sidelines and actually put in the work to get this done now.
