@BenjySarlin If only the media had reported honestly about it. Or anything at all. They normalized a sociopath with obvious dementia. And now they are overjoyed because they have us watching in angst.

The overall story, so far: Nothing here looks like a story of various campaign decisions or a VP choice or big set piece speeches. It's an electorate mad at the incumbent WH's record and expressing it pretty uniformly everywhere, blue and red states alike.

Want an example of a broken system? Florida DIDN’T “reject” the proposal to include a right to abortion in the constitution — they voted 58.2% in favor of abortion rights. But it needed 60% to pass, so it failed WITH A MAJORITY. Can’t imagine what Florida women must be thinking.
