Just released our 0.5.2 build (Jan 2021) - working on monthly releases moving forward!
Some highlights:

This is neat! It's taking @tyroverby's Bonsai library (mostly for web-apps, but more general than that) and applying it to Revery for desktop-app use-cases.

Excited to be able to share that I’ll be joining @woltapp as a Software Engineer now in September.
I'll mainly be writing @ReScriptLang and @TypeScript with a focus on all things React/React Native.

@boleroo @k0001 @FlutterDev Yes, we're on Skia now! If you think of Revery as @FlutterDev mixed with @reactjs for @reasonml / @OCamlLang - wouldn't be far off the mark.
Need to improve dev experience (hot-reload) and support mobile (thanks @TheEduardoRFS for all the work on that front!) to be even closer

@k0001 There's @reveryui for #OCaml. I think that they've even switched to Skia, the rendering engine, like @FlutterDev.

Spent the evening dog-fooding @reveryui to see what's missing in order to create spotlight-like apps. It began as something Alfred-like but ended up as an emoji-picker with an Alfred-like UI... Still missing status bar-integration, but the rest works pretty good! 29mb too! TBC 🙂

@zachbaylin has made some incredible contributions this summer! One of these is font-fallback - a complicated aspect of text rendering, but important for CJK font rendering and emojis. This really levels @reveryui up!
