🇫🇷 French International Criminal Court (ICC) judge Nicolas Guillou, sanctioned by President Trump in August because of the court’s warrant for Netanyahu, says he has been cut off from basic financial and digital services. “I discovered that almost all payment methods in France today are American,” Guillou said. “The only cards we have in France are Visa and Mastercard.” He can no longer use Amazon, Airbnb, Booking or Expedia, and some UPS deliveries to his home have also been blocked. French officials say efforts to lift the sanctions have seen no U.S. response. “If judges are afraid to judge… then we no longer have democracy,” Guillou told France Télévisions.

RTE Radio 1 published this phone interview with Seamus Culleton, an Irish national held by ICE in Texas since September, says he “fears for his life” in detention. Culleton lived in the U.S. for 20 years, is married to a U.S. citizen, and was detained despite holding a valid license and work permit. He said people have been killed by the staff.

After rescuing four people who jumped into the sea to escape the Libyan Coast Guard, the crew issued their own mayday. Independent TDs Barry Heneghan and Gillian Toole voted against the Government tonight as they backed the SF Bill to ban the Irish Central Bank approving the prospectus that allows Israel sell its bonds in the EU.

In a searing interview with the BBC, paediatrician Dr Tanya Haj Hassan condemned the broadcaster for echoing Israeli government talking points as she recounted her harrowing experiences in Gaza. Dr Haj Hassan, who recently returned from volunteering with Medical Aid for Palestinians, shared the devastating story of her colleague, Dr Alaa, a paediatric emergency doctor at Nasser Hospital. While Dr Alaa was on call at the hospital, her home was bombed and nine of her children were killed, their bodies charred and dismembered beyond recognition. Her husband remains in critical condition. Dr Haj Hassan described a healthcare system in collapse: intensive care units overflowing with maimed, orphaned children – many the sole survivors of their families. She also questioned why the BBC has delayed the release of 'Medics Under Fire', a documentary it commissioned about systematic attacks on Gaza’s healthcare workers, calling for its immediate release.
