Dr. John Mearsheimer is absolutely right. If you just listen to Trump and watch the Fox Regime Propaganda and Disinformation Network you probably think the US is winning Trump's forever war in Iran and that Iran's military has ceased to exist. In fact, as I predicted at the start of the war, Iran holds all the cards and an Iranian strategic victory over the US is virtually inevitable.

Iran is a very target rich environment. These were used correctly in the first 3 weeks of the campaign. only 850 targets of more than 10,000 destroyed were via Tomahawks. They are invaluable once again. We are not out of Tomahawks, but our need for them in Iran is now greatly reduced, corresponding also that we used about 800 of them early in standoff missions.

I do agree the smaller UAE islands occupied by Iran will be taken and returned as they are in the straits.

We're roughly two-thirds through, and we're already seeing a clear drop in their capabilities — fewer ballistic missiles and fewer drone swarms getting through. 3.Clausewitz said it straight: war is the continuation of policy by other means. This campaign is still rolling. Whether we pause kinetic ops and shift back to diplomacy, I don't know. But both are tools in the same fight. The goal is clear — Iran will no longer pose a nuclear threat to the region. That means taking down their military-nuclear, industrial-nuclear, and research-nuclear infrastructure. What the West avoided for decades is getting done now, and it will continue until the mission is nearly complete. 4. Never forget: the enemy gets a vote.
