I don't use net banking apps on my phone because the mandatory permissions they ask for make no sense. Why does a banking app need access to my SMS, phone, contacts, etc., in the name of security, when not seeking invasive device permissions is, in fact, the global benchmark for cybersecurity. This is called the Principle of Least Privilege (PoLP). “Don't do unto others what you don't want done unto you” has been at the heart of the Zerodha philosophy. This is exactly why we've built Zerodha the way we have. Kite asks for ZERO permissions on mobile, for instance, and this is one of the big reasons why millions of people trust us. What has enabled us is SEBI's mandatory strong two-factor authentication framework strike the right balance between security and privacy.

All insurers have completely passed on GST cut benefits to the policyholders, In fact one insurer took a premium hike(hike was intimated in June) after GST reduction, IRDAI called the insurer and asked them to roll back the hike immediately. But then, In some cases, the premium rose even after GST was reduced, Why was this? In health insurance premiums rise due to 2 reasons, 1. Due to age 2. Due to medical inflation These hikes will keep continuining even if GST is rolled back, They have nothing to do with GST or no GST So for example, In a policy where the company increases premiums every year due to age, Despite the reduction in GST, The premium hike due to age will come in, Therefore, customers dont see a reduction or they see an increase in premium, Talking to CEOs of top insurance companies, They have advised us they are under strict guidelines from IRDAI to pass on entire benefit of GST reduction to the consumers. All of them have complied with govt and IRDAI mandate, We in no way are trying to defend the industry, In fact, we fight with the insurers to keep policyholders' interests paramount, But, Correct and precise info must be passed on the customers.
Sachin Taparia@sachintaparia

So 36% consumers surveyed who renewed their personal health insurance policies since Government reduced GST from 18% to nil say their insurance company increased the base premium and they didn’t see much benefit of the rate cut. On top of that most experienced an annual premium increase. #IRDAI & @CCI_India (anti-profiteering bench) must act! A Laptop is a Basic Necessity for Most Children today. They use good laptops for design, coding, animation & AI as well. For eg: My 11 year old uses advanced features to build curriculum & movies as well. They are getting prepared for the future 😀 When a tax payer buys a Laptop for ₹100000, the person pays additionally around ₹18000 as GST 😭😭😭 A Smartphone is also used by most Adults today. The GST is again 18%. It has become a Basic Necessity. I feel that laptops & smartphones should come under the 5% GST category. Hope this will be considered @GST_Council @nsitharaman ji 🙏 Request my audience to share Widely if this makes sense & should be considered. #FI

ℹ️ Very important to know this. Every time there is a road accident, a crowd gathers in seconds. There is someone getting water There are some who are taking videos 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️ But nobody clearly knows what to do? 10% of road accident de*ths in the world, happen in India. Most of these happen because of what happens in the first hour after an accident. Few questions people have in mind "If I take them to the hospital, will I be harassed by police?" Also "If I take them to the hospitals - will hospitals admit without money?" And while all that's happening, time falls short Studies suggest up to 50% of road de**hs are preventable if victims reach a hospital within that first hour. That window is called the Golden Hour. It's the period right after a traumatic injury when immediate treatment gives the highest survival chance. So the Government very recently announced something called PM RAHAT. Road Accident Victim Hospitalization and Assured Treatment Scheme. The idea is that no one should d*e because payment got in the way of treatment. It will cover: 1. Cashless treatment up to Rs 1.5 lakh, valid for 7 days from the accident date, on any road. 2. Stabilization treatment is covered for up to 24 hours in non-life threatening cases, up to 48 hours in life threatening ones. Police authentication through a digital system is required. How can you use this: Call 112 They will guide you to the nearest designated hospital - also send an ambulance. Now this is interesting - The news says once you do this "everything from accident report to hospital payment will be tracked through a digital system behind that integrates police reporting, hospital systems, insurance platforms, and road transport authorities". How does this get paid: There is a Motor Vehicle Accident Fund that will pay this within 20 days to the hospital. Yes, yes of course, of course, we all need to see how this is executed on ground. Meanwhile, I think this information is important, and people should know about it - so do share this with your circle.

Toilets in @ahmairport terminal 1 are stinking so badly that there’s no air freshners to give some relief to noses. And the water fountains are just next to the toilets making it worse to gulp water from it.

what people compare while buying anhealth insurance policy? High CSR company ≠ Guaranteed claim approval. Low CSR company ≠ Claim rejection. Read this before buying any health insurance 👇 what actually matters vs what show on internet.. What people compare … 1] claim settlement ratio 2] incurred claim ratio 3] complain ratio 4] last 3 year settlemt data 5] company is having good brand value or no VS What really matters 1] product benefits 2] terms and conditions 3]addequate cover or no ? 4] having right support while claim 5] cover all necessary treatments and robotic surgery people rather focus on having good CSR,ICR etc etc.. rather than what actually matters ... dont fall for the trap that doesnt even matter .. i have a seen a claim rejection with highest claim settlemnt ratio company and seen a claim approved with lowest claim settlemnt ratio company..so the end of the day onlythings that matter is your terms and condition and the support ...

Dear Jio Team, As a customer, I have two Important Suggestions: - Most Indians have Wifi access. Senior Citizens use Wifi mostly. Please provide an affordable 1 GB per day plan with options to choose (28 days onwards). Also a yearly plan. - Provide affordable Voice only plans for less than ₹100 every month. Anything above this is forcing people to take data, even if they don't need it. There are many who use only voice and also less than 1 GB per day. Need inclusive plans. Let users decide. Urging my audience to repost this (if you also feel this way) until @JioCare ACTUALLY Cares 👍 #FI

RBI changed a rule from October 1st that could cut your EMI right now. Home loan, car loan, personal loan - doesn't matter. If your credit score improved after taking the loan, you can finally do something about it. Your loan interest has two parts: - RBI benchmark rate (same for everyone). - Bank's spread (based on your credit score, tenure, and bank's margin). Until now, even if your credit score jumped from 650 to 780 after taking the loan, banks couldn't reduce your spread for THREE YEARS. Why? RBI's old rule locked it. NOT ANYMORE. RBI just scrapped that rule. Now if your credit score improved, you can ask your bank to cut your spread and lower your EMI immediately. No three-year wait. No penalties. Just better terms based on your current creditworthiness. The catch is, This is NOT automatic. Banks won't call you with good news. You have to ask for it. How to do it? Step 1: Check your current credit score. Step 2: Compare it with your score when you took the loan. Step 3: Call your bank with the official RBI circular. Step 4: Demand a spread reduction based on improved creditworthiness. It's time to save some money.

You understand it precisely. The tragedy is that the world mistakes exhaustion for generosity. Those who deplete themselves in the name of love are often praised by the same hands that drained them. True virtue doesn’t demand disappearance, it requires presence with discernment. To give wisely is not selfish; it’s sacred arithmetic. What remains of you after giving is the proof of whether it was love or surrender. -The Weaver of Woe The world calls it kindness when you bleed quietly. I call it negligence of the soul.

First, they removed the most affordable plans. Then, they forced people to buy both voice and data together. It feels like extortion - removing the 1GB plan and hiding it as the last option with fewer days of validity. I understand they’ve made investments worth crores, but they also received huge subsidies, low-cost land, priority approvals and many other benefits. The truth is, we can’t satisfy billionaires’ endless greed for money.
