@NFFCSTL Exactly right. You can see it on the angle from behind that he takes two steps, if he was going for the ball he would have veered left but he just keeps on straight to initiate contact.

He kicks the ball wide, and then runs straight into the keeper on purpose.

Morgan Gibbs-White action map for #NFFC v #BrentfordFC On another day I thought with better decision making from him Forest could have had at least one more goal. Getting into those positions to affect the game positively is always a good sign though, and his ball down the right for Awoniyi was well weighted. He's another player that shouldn't see the pitch on Thursday night.

@wt_analysis Did his job in a gritty away performance I thought. Forest had to endure a lot in the game and MGW played his part in that. Fewer silly give away than recent games which helps massively.

@ForestFanBase I think it is the next 3 that are really important. Palace, Leeds and Wolves. A win today would be a bonus but I agree that a decent performance is needed. We’ve done well in the last 2 prem games, cup games felt like we weren’t trying at all.

Today feels like it might be a very big day one way or another. I hope everyone representing the club today produces their very best. We are in it together, need everyone to carry us forward too. #nffc

@ForestFanBase Totally agree with this. Smart foul as he shoves him to stop him getting set and in position to deal with the corner. Then steps away so it looks like nothing. Shoving someone in the air will always make it hard for them.

That has to be ruled out. You can’t show a keeper into his goal and it shouldn’t have even been a corner either. Sels should have done better but you can’t shove a player like that and get away with it with VAR. 🤷‍♂️ #nffc

Positives were Hutchinson, Neco & Anderson of course. Ange needs to pick his best team now. Ndoye far too soft atm. Dare I say it Wood & MGW have done little since first 45 mins of the season too. Need clear plan & to play with much more intensity. It’s not as bad as it looks.
