I remember being at this meeting. I remember exactly where I was sitting in. That auditorium. I remember having such a sick feeling in my stomach. I remember setting in my chair saying 'God, can we pray for more mercy? And more mercy! ' And then after Mike. preached this sermon- he asked a young worship leader, 'what do u think is going to happen?' And the worship leader said, 'I think people r going to die'. And then they handed out the Scared Trust forms and asked everyone to fill them out and bring them up to the alter. I just sat in my chair thinking, 'they r crying out for judgement but I am crying out for your mercy'. That was my prayer the whole time he was asking God to come with the Sword of the Lord. I sat in my chair and said, 'I am asking for mercy. I am not asking for the sword. I am asking for mercy'. And then I didn't fill out my form and I didn't bring it forward. Now, I think to myself/ Why did I sit through that? I don't even know. Many called this the House of Judgement after this service. I continued to ask for mercy.

In light of the ongoing #mikebickle and #ihopkc crisis, I cannot help but wonder when Jesus himself will get targeted by #metoo and #churchtoo cancel cultures: for having had the audacity to not only #groom a number of young men, so much so that most all of them sacrificed their lives in martyrdom in their cultic devotion to him, but indeed to also provoke at least one woman into displaying an extravagant act of devotion -- a reckless waste of an inheritance some would say -- as she washed his feet, in a submissive posturing before him. If ever there was a predator preying on an unsuspecting and disenfranchised class of underprivileged victims of spiritual abuse, it surely would have to be that man traversing the land of Galilee, knowing the thoughts and motives of everyone he encountered, as he made such a name and reputation for himself that countless numbers of lives were lost, in the decades and centuries and millinemuims to follow, as young minors everywhere often found themselves vulnerable to the call to abandon any thought of ever doing or living for their own selves, as without any doubt their undeveloped minds were clearly taken over, as he seduced them into a love affair of sorts, with coercive threats of punishment and promises of reward, for those to be groomed / discipled by him #theway

I used to love yoga. Did yoga on lunch breaks. Did yoga on retreats. Did yoga with friends. I heard the warnings from some Christians, but I dismissed them because I really loved yoga. It was so relaxing! So delightful. I didn't want to give the warnings any credence because I valued my enjoyment more. And I was flat wrong. Once I learned what you're actually doing in yoga, what you're opening yourself to, what you're inviting in, what you're worshipping, I was horrified. I was willfully committing idolatry and putting myself in a spiritually, emotionally, and physically dangerous place. Not a single enjoyment on earth is worth that. And, no, I'm sorry, it isn't just stretching. You can't "Christianize" yoga any more than you can "Christianize" bowing down to Baal. If you believe that, then you have yet to understand what you're doing when practicing yoga. And you're also in a very dangerous place. Please, find out. Protect yourself. Avoid this stuff like the demonic disease it is. Your health will be better off without it.
