[Spoilers ahead so don’t read on if you haven’t finished The Boys] Let’s start with the one silver lining. When Homelander lost his powers him turning into a sniveling whining pathetic coward willing to do anything to preserve himself was extremely realistic and actually very well done. Him saying that he would even blow Butcher, humiliate himself, is very on brand. They actually nailed that. Everything leading up to that moment, including how Kimiko took away his powers with the power of love and accepting herself was beyond absurdity in an already bottom tier expectation show. Hughie has sucked the entire series, he’s had zero redemption, he’s not even the heart of the show, he literally just sucks and gets in the way, and EVEN AT THE LAST MOMENT, not only does he NOT let Butcher complete the job and actually wipe out all the supes (Butcher was completely correct in his assessment that if they don’t wipe out the supes another Homelander will just rise again), he SHOOTS Butcher and then has the audacity to TRY TO CONSOLE HIM after he shot him LMAO. WTF? And then he gave a speech at his funeral like he wasn’t the one that just killed him. It’s the most absurd backwards ending ever. Of course you also had the obvious Homelander k**ling an Elon type character who “wants to talk about declining white fertility rates,” but that is to be expected for how low the show stoops. Overall the whole series was slop. The first season was good, MAYBE the second too? And then it’s just over the top perversion, degeneracy, hate, writing and plots that make no sense, and no reward whatsoever. Would not recommend. Glad it’s over. Did like how Homelander went out however. That was very well done. Hughie is the real villain of the show. He didn’t let Butcher finish the job. He invalidated all of his effort for good boy points. Hughie is the worst.

Here's the question I have for the Bitcoin Illuminati: Why couldn't it be the case that Bitcoin ends up becoming the universal settlement rails, but not necessarily the payment rails? Bitcoin's got the strongest security and decentralization, making it perfect for settling big transfers like those between banks or countries. But for everyday small payments, might it be impractical? So, couldn't we have Bitcoin as the rock-solid base layer for final settlement, while other networks or second-layer solutions handle the moment-to-moment stuff on top?

The text doesnt say Jonah survived in the great fish…it wasnt a refuge; it was a tomb. You atheists love to pretend that Jonah was just hanging out in the fish….maybe even taking a nap or two to pass the time. Utter nonsense. Jonah prayed while he was still on the boat, as the sailors threw him overboard and he continued praying from inside the belly of the fish…until he drowned. Read his own prayer from inside the fish: “I called out to the Lord, out of my distress… From the belly of Sheol I cried and you heard my voice… The waters closed in over me to the point of death; the flood surrounded me; seaweed was wrapped around my head; I went down to the roots of the mountains; the earth with its bars closed upon me forever… Yet you brought up my life from the pit, O Lord my God.” (Jonah 2:2–6) He prays from Sheol….the Old Testament place of the dead. He says the waters took him “to the point of death.” Seaweed wrapped around his head and the earth barred him in forever. Thats not a guy whos just uncomfortable….thats a man describing his own death. So yes…..Jonah died in the belly of the great fish. The miracle wasnt that he survived underwater for three days. The miracle was that God raised him from the dead after the fish vomited his dead body onto dry land. And thats exactly the sign Jesus pointed to: “But He answered and said to them, “An evil and adulterous generation craves a sign; and so no sign will be given to it except the SIGN OF JONAH the prophet; For just as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.” (Matt 12:39-40) Jesus didnt say “as Jonah lived in the fish…” He pointed to Jonahs death and resurrection as a sign of His own. Jonah died. God raised him. Jesus died. God raised Him. Thats the parallel…not a three day aquarium stay. The sign of Jonah isnt survival. Its resurrection. Full stop.
