I don't post here very often, I do nearly all my posting of SoCal parks (mostly SFMM, KBF, USH and sometimes Disney and SWSD), haunts, horror, and, travel, and occasional culture here: bsky.app/profile/ridegu… Been to 100+ parks, been on 635+ coasters

@ParkObsession Yeah, we weren't a fan of the required locker/metal detectors (at least as of last year). We did appreciate they was a "pay one fee and move your locker location" option, and that did work pretty well

Cedar Point is pretty inconsistent on complimentary storage for loose articles/bags for their coasters and on top of that, they charge. So they essentially require you to pay to ride all their major coasters which to me is a low ball move. In addition to the inconvenience to your guests, your lockers seem to not be accepting multiple cards. We also have been dealing with digital errors when trying to rent a locker through a QR code. So what’s the solution? Am I forced to pay for a more expensive locker all because I just want to enjoy your attractions? Are we now having to tell a member of our party to be the “bag holder”? Sorry but this is unacceptable. 🤷‍♂️ Your lockers should operate like they do at your sister park, Knott’s Berry Farm and give your guests a complimentary time frame for bags while riding. @cedarpoint @TonyClarkCP

@SoCal360 I like the ride selection better at San Diego Fair because they use a variety of vendors

The Los Angeles County Fair is back! In our opinion, this is the best county fair in Southern California. Way better than the OC Fair & San Diego Fair. There’s so much to see & do here. If you’re an LA resident, tomorrow’s admission is only $8, but you must buy online by 11:59pm today 🎢🎡🍔🌭

@ParkObsession @WonderlandNews Also, make sure to check out Niagara Falls and Clifton Hill. There are like 4 haunted walkthrough attractions there before driving back into the U.S

You were amazing Canadas Wonderland! Can’t wait to visit again soon! Fav coasters were AlpenFury & Leviathan but honestly there are so many other bangers in the park. Such a fun day and so happy to finally check this park off the bucket list. 🙌 @WonderlandNews

@Park_Journey @culturenthrills It's crazy that Helios charges the prices they do, and it doesn't include Unlimited Express. If it did, I could see it being semi-justified

@culturenthrills This is weird because we were booking a Wednesday night in October and Dockside/Surfside/Cabana Bay/Aventura were all more expensive than this. And those were AP rates. Just checked again, they went down slightly and weirdly Sapphire Falls was less than any of them. So booked!!

I think this gives a very good idea how bad bookings are for later this year. We have already seen discounts for the summer like we’ve haven’t seen in a while. We could be looking at even bigger discounts for this fall.

Sharing to watch later as I have to actually go into the office today. But I’ve always maintained that when your hobby becomes your job, it has the potential to suck the joy out of it. Will be interesting if that holds up after watching this later.

@SoCal360 The first time I went they had a coke lounge and offered free coke but on subsequent times I don’t remember that option

My kids asked me why a Six Flags guy would be hanging out at another company’s theme park - and I told them it’s because he truly LOVES theme parks, and that passion is why he’s always been so successful at every place he’s worked at. Best wishes to him and his family. Can’t wait to see where he eventually ends up in this industry down the line. 🎢🙌

@ExpAttractions The concept isn't bad, but I hate both the way they destroy the symmetry and elegance of the portal entry ways, and as a full park guest, it's going to be irritating to be continually scanning to go through the park

@ShawnNOrlando I literally could never. I mean kudos to the people who do. But I just don't have that hustle and drive. I have a WFH job that I love that pays me well and allows me to have an awesome hobby that I get to sometimes share with people. That's enough for me.

I dont understand how any content creator is willing to quit their job to make content full time in this economy. I really hope things goes well if you do but I dont understand why you would Hell, if people hate you, at least the hate watching generates good revenue for you
