@SMCSheriff@NBCBayArea is showing video of your substation security gate access code being entered. I was able to geolocate the gate. You might want to change it…
@mbrodkorb@TomWeilerMN Would also add that “Turn the Ship Around” is a title of a book by a real Sub driver (Marquet). Wrong Navy’s current submarine (heh swidt) and a stolen tagline. Yeah no. Not a lot of recommendation there.
NEW 🧵: A new mailing from Republican @TomWeilerMN in #MN03 says, “Let’s Turn the Ship Around and Save America!” But the ship pictured that Weiler wants to turn “around and save America” is the Moskva, a Russian guided missile cruiser sunk during the invasion of Ukraine.
@mdhardeman@matthew_d_green Utimaco’s GP HSM sim is transparent to the app (the app doesn’t know it is a sim). For development use/QA/test/PoC work, NOT licensed for use in prod environments. For one-pin-per-key, PKCS11 API, limit would be 10k keys. Fail count locks pin, does not destroy key.
@matthew_d_green Hrm… I wonder… I think Utimaco makes functional virtual machines that literally mimic their real HSMs. Obviously “assurances” and meaningful protection are gone there. But I think it’s meant for devs to use to build sw that could utilize a real one…
I’m looking for a (preferably USB) HSM/token that lets me store many different keys, each with its own PIN. And maintains a max attempt counter separately for each key. For large values of “many”. Does this exist?
@BillBailey I'll wave as you drive by. Is this work? or just visiting? If work omfg need to get tickets WTH why wasn't I notified, if visiting, and heading up to Tahoe, can recommend the Hwy 4 route.
@Dell "... After you save SupportAsssist installer, you can start the installation by..."
he heh heh heh 'asssist' 'ass cyst' heh heh.
My pardon for the juvenile humor.
Support for Latitude 7480,
@Square@Lyft 2 of 2 RFE regarding digital/email receipts. Or at least put a link at the bottom that opens a web page with -- again -- just the financial facts, in letter or A4 size at most, and in black & white without graphics of any sort. PLEASE. Really. Please.
@Square@Lyft 1 of 2 RFE regarding digital/email receipts. PLEASE MAKE THEM FIT ON ONE PAGE OF PAPER. Have to print them out when claiming them on expenses. Don't need images, or fancy graphics. Just the facts.
Insert comment here about intersentential code-switching (Spanish/English) within the comments of java code that uses a c-based library via the java native interface. It's meta.
@scalzi I've found that replacing the internal "keyboard" hardware in an external, cabled USB keyboard with a pair of low-wattage heating elements (powered through the USB cable) solves this problem nicely.
I work for Utimaco (there is no L in Utimaco), we make general purpose Hardware Security Modules. The Atalla product line produces HSMs and host APIs specifically for the Payments vertical.

I’m at RSA in SF this week, either at the Utimaco booth (1727) or the Oasis booth (1701). We’re focused on post quantum/quantum safe crypto, and multi-cloud HSMs so you can take your keys with you when you move to another CSP. Swing by, let me sell you…lnkd.in/g48-GyK

Register now for the Utimaco GmbH Applied Crypto Symposium, with a day-long series of presentations/discussion on why crypto-agility and HSMs are necessary to address the challenges brought by Post-Quantum computers: hsm.utimaco.com/events/utimaco…
@daniel_bilar Yes, we started by getting Picnic running in the @Utimaco HSM simulator, then ported the code to the CryptoServer itself. Our HSM firmware is also available on our Picnic github site, and there are more details on this experiment in our NIST Picnic submission.
