This past weekend we said our official goodbyes to my younger brother. I know that at some level, I’ll never really say goodbye. Right now I cannot possibly bring myself to that finality, but my faith also says it’s really just a ‘see you later’. Whatever, it sucks & feels unreal

These precious babies are tucked in a tree right outside our church doors. What a sweet gift this Pentecost Sunday!

@BethMooreLPM Just make sure you don’t hang around the door though. These are mockingbirds and they will dive bomb you if they think you are too close to their nest. I have past experience. Felt like I was in a Hitchcock movie 😁

@CinUsa22 @johnondrasik Saw Ronstadt with the Eagles (Jackson Brown and Dan Fogelberg as well) in DC at a concert for Jerry Brown (he was dating Linda at the time I believe) when he was running for President. JT was great. Fortunate to have seen Fleetwood Mac twice. They were awesome!

@Prozpxr @LibertyJen The original in Dallas, before its corporate buy out, had long, long lines to get in on the weekends. It had a one page menu of chili, and their very yummy chili tacos and burgers. Added a hot dog in 79. That was it, simple and very good.

I think we ate at Chilis for the last time today. Food was meh. They don’t even have avocado for their burgers anymore, just processed guacamole. All my favorite menu items are now gone. It now tastes like cafeteria food. Also it’s gross they only use PLASTIC drinking glasses. What used to be a decent place to stop is no longer.

@WatchMarquee @TheJoeySwoll I was huge Cubs fan in 3-7 grade living in suburban Chicago. To give you an idea of how incredibly long ago that was my favorite Cub was Don Kessinger. Ernie, Santo, Beckett, Jenkins, Williams, Hundley…like you said Joey, come home from school to watch because no night games.
