Professional news — yesterday was my last day at @ndtv … To the NDTV I have known and grown up watching, it has been the honour and privilege of my life to be one of you❤️ Personal news — I have been nursing a health issue which literally forced me to rest and take a break. Burnout is real, so here’s a reminder to put yourself first and listen to your body while you do everything else. Easy to preach, very tough to practice, so wish me luck :)

Meanwhile, Republic TV crew detained for taking visuals of the Iranian warship at Kochi post.
South First@TheSouthfirst

#Kerala : Two journalists taken into custody for videographing Iranian warship at Kochi port Two journalists were taken into custody on Saturday for allegedly photographing the #Iranian warship #IRISLavan anchored at Kochi port, police said. Those detained are Republic TV reporter Shankar and cameraman Mani. The driver of the boat they were travelling in, Radhakrishnan, was also taken into custody. According to officials, the journalists attempted to take pictures of the warship while it was docked near the Mattancherry wharf. CISF personnel on guard noticed them entering a restricted zone and videographing the vessel, following which they were detained. The CISF later handed the three men over to the Kochi police. Their cameras have also been seized as part of the investigation. Police said photography of the vessel had been strictly prohibited due to security concerns and warned that violations would invite legal action, as the matter pertains to national security. Police added that they recorded their arrest and will be produced before the court.

The Milan biennial exercise organised by the Indian Navy aims to foster mutual understanding, trust, and professional interaction among navied to promote a free, open, inclusive, and rules-based maritime order.  The purpose is to promote peace and stability in the maritime space. The Iranian frigate was hosted by the Indian navy. The US submarine was obviously monitoring the exercise and torpedoed the frigate near Sri Lanka while it was sailing back to Iran. A large number of Iranian lives have been lost. In a way the spirit of the Milan exercise shared by the Iranian navy has been violated by this US action, more so as it occurred not far from India’s maritime periphery. This has happened while reports are circulating (unverified) that US naval ships mobilised for the war with Iran have had to fall back towards Indian ports in view of the danger from Iranian drone and missile attacks. All this is not helpful.
Sandeep Manudhane@sandeep_PT

India invited this Iranian naval ship for an exercise. It departed after completing it, and was sunk by an American submarine near Sri Lanka, killing most. SL urgently rescued as many as it could. (read the tweet carefully | no official reaction till now from India after sinking)
