Apart from NFTs and crypto, I'm also into forex trading. I, like many, trailed social traders for their gains, paid hefty for mentorship due to these misjudgments. Reflecting,I wish to share insights into how I could have navigated those learning moments more effectively. 🧵1/6

BREAKING NEWS: THERE IS NO REASON TO HAVE CENTRALIZED EXCHANGES – CHARLES 😱😱😱 @IOHK_Charles compares centralized exchanges to a system built on blind trust, manipulation, and predatory listing fees. He insists that decentralized exchanges DEXs are the path forward offering honesty, transparency, and freedom from custodial risk. Is this the beginning of the end for centralized exchanges?

@lilybrodi the best advice? is not to look for too much advice specially an external one. Choosing where to settle is super personal — it’s something you need to figure out on your own.

good question: Cardano is built from the ground up using BTC's UTXO architecture but extending it to eUTXO in order to facilitate more programmability and smart contracts its primary token is ADA, disinflationary and capped, also like BTC It is built on bitcoin's first principles hence the focus on decentralization and security it uses a POS system called ouroboros that enables trully liquid, unlocked delegation to the 3000 or so, low HW requirement pools run by the community Its also governed by the community with the recent release of Voltaire In essence, the Cardano community runs, funds, and governs the protocol Its critics ridicule it for the lack of liquidity but the reason for that is not succumbing to ETH's network effect nor does it cater to VCs, something im sure someone with your moral credibility and virtuous ethics would find appealing So what you get is what you see, a grass root, bottom up, decentralized, network state with a 1.5billion ADA or at the time of writing $877,500,000 treasury that was funded through our usage and the community governs over Its as a cryptocurrency should be Moreover, through the @BTC_OS trustless bridge, Cardano will soon connect with the UTXO king Trillions of $ worth of dusted BTC will soon have the ability to loan, borrow, leverage and use all the other services and DEFI without relying on middlemen This will be the first time in the history of BTC that you dont need to rely on custodians or multisigs to borrow on your BTC. it will be monumentally historic The reason for this seamless integration is the compatibility and interoperability UTXO offers through ZK proofs, which is far easier and natural to do on, instead of the VM world this will offer true scalability to both BTC and ADA I'd gladly go into more details in any of the aspects of governance, technology, methodology etc. and I'm sure many others, that know more than me would also happily answer any more questions you have thank you for the opportunity to answer your question Duo

if price is the best indicator of success then why did you rail against LUNA while it was pumping? the best indicator for success is fundamentals and in decentralized protocols their social layer as well in that regards Cardano is one of the biggest and as far as price goes, Cardano has been consistently in the top 10 outperforming most other big cap crypto during bulls With the upcoming @BTC_OS trustless bridge between BTC and Cardano, it positions it as the computational layer of BTC The only thing Cardano lacks is liquidity and the reason for that is because it didnt copy paste the EVM model and instead build on BTC UTXO and principles and its the reason why its so compatible with BTC making it the first to connect to it and its trillion $ liquidity None of the shit you just said in your thread, is a sound argument against Cardano Make a proper argument and id love to have a good faith conversation with you till then though, stay salty

I see many ADA folks celebrating this pump. Yes, it's not bad. But zoom out a little bit. ADA used to be $3. It's still down 85% from ATH! If you're underwater, get out as soon as you can later.

Soo, you’re going to tell me @IOHK_Charles ✅ Gave early Bitcoin education courses ✅ Co-founded Ethereum (a top 2 chain) ✅ Founded Cardano (~$12B market cap) ✅ Burned the genesis keys ✅ Handed a 1.5 billion ADA ($500M USD) treasury to holders ✅ Inspired thousands of people to build on Cardano, with the goal of making this world a better place ✅ Invested 7 figures to ensure voices from 60+ countries were heard during the draft constitution process. ✅ Consistently hosted AMAs throughout the journey Yet, we’re going to call him a cancer for Cardano? Insinuate that our ecosystem would be better without him? I’m all for constructive criticism, but this isn’t it. We literally wouldn’t be here without him. It’s incredibly disrespectful and demeaning. Like him or not, he doesn’t deserve this kind of treatment, especially during his birthday week. Charles, the silent majority stands with you and wants you here in our ecosystem. Please ignore the negative comments directed at you.

It works 🤯 This address is a smart contract, built on Plutus V3, that allows a Bitcoin wallet to control it directly! Bitcoin users can now send ADA, tokens, and even stake in any Cardano pool — no new wallet needed. Tldr: A seamless bridge between Bitcoin and Cardano apps is here! Wanna know more👇

Cardano should use some of its treasury to create a Meme fund to directly buy top tokens It would send a strong message that Cardano supports memes and start a chain reaction: more investors, liquidity, teams, volume, listings, users.. I bet it would be a very profitable trade

I love you Adam but let's be real. #Cardano is very, very far from being a global financial system. We are barely getting 30K monthly active addresses according to @MessariCrypto (addresses and NOT users) and 20K UAW (unique active wallets) on dapps according to @DappRadar. I say let's focus on getting there first by making it EASY for people to participate in all aspects of the blockchain and not impose prohibitive parameters. Let's put these @IOHK_Charles-esque delusions of grandeur behind us and act on real world data. We couldn't effectively handle a memecoin launchpad, let alone being "a global financial system". We are not there yet. And I would love to see us get there at some point, but we have to be able to look what we are lacking in the eye and say "we need to fix this". I love Cardano, I quit my job to come and build on Cardano but sometimes you gotta say it like it is.✌️

@BrockCardano @NilsCodes @Quantumplation @Cerkoryn @pxlzAF @StakeWithPride @Jennycitalinda That is a tiny amount of people on the scale and scope of a global financial operating system and it still presumes that they've done ZERO work ahead of time to even gauge community sentiment around their idea. If you don't have a few billion supporting your proposal, why propose
