@TheBuckYouWill We need to provide funding for training the beavers to just drop a tree on the picnic instead of putting themselves in harms way.

A viral video from Alberta, Canada, shows an immigrant family being attacked by a beaver after unknowingly having a picnic near its den, with one of the men forced to physically throw the animal back into the river to escape it. Even the animals want them to go home.

🚨 BREAKING: CARDANO DEFI JUST GOT A HUGE UPGRADE. We’re excited to announce Liquid Staking is now live 🔥 Over 40M ADA value is now unlocked and ready to be deployed without sacrificing any staking yield. Here’s what it means 👇 In the original staking, you had to lock your strike tokens in a smart contract, meaning you didn’t directly hold them in your wallet. Now that all changes and you can both: - hold the strike tokens in your wallet with full custody - still get your full staking rewards And then we took it to the next level. You can now use these $STRIKE tokens in other major DeFi protocols while still earning your full strike staking rewards. Supported protocols are: - Minswap - Splash - VyFi - CSwap - Surf - FluidTokens Support for more protocols will be added soon. Please read docs for full details and check out the examples in the follow up tweet. Happy staking 🔥 Link: 🎮 app.strikefinance.org/staking Docs: 🕹️ docs.strikefinance.org/tokenomics/mar…

Conservatives support providing military aid to Ukraine. However, the Liberal government should also be cutting off the source of funds for Putin’s war machine while helping the Canadian economy grow - that would have a bigger impact than $270 million in funding. Russia is still selling billions of dollars of natural gas to Europe, providing Russia with a valuable source of funds for its budget. According to the Council of the European Union, “For pipeline gas and LNG combined, Russia accounted for around 12% of total EU gas imports in 2025.” The Liberal government should announce a policy of displacing Russian natural gas with Canadian. That policy should include new legislation to reverse the anti-resource development laws on the books, overhauling a byzantine regulatory system and using the powers in Bill C-5 to quickly approve new pipelines and LNG facilities. Four years ago, when the war in Ukraine began, Conservatives called on the Liberal government to take action to approve and build new LNG pipelines so Canada could export to allies in Europe and displace Russian gas. The Liberal government refused to take action. As a result, EU countries like Germany were forced into signing long-term contracts with Qatar to purchase LNG. Now another war has broken out, this time in the Middle East. Qatari LNG shipments to Europe have been cut off, and Russia is taking advantage of the situation by rerouting oil and gas exports to benefit from higher prices, helping fund its war in Ukraine. Ten months have passed since Parliament gave the Liberal government extraordinary new powers in C-5 to expedite the approval and construction of new infrastructure, such as LNG export facilities and pipelines. Despite the passage of four years and Bill C-5, and despite the passage of one year with Prime Minister Carney in power, little has changed. Canada still has no new approved LNG export facilities or pipelines. And our closest allies are forced to purchase oil and gas from authoritarian states like Russia. And the Canadian economy continues to struggle, with GDP shrinking in two of the last three reported quarters. #cdnpoli

Absolutely my favourite tweet of the week. And if Eby thinks this isn't the reaction of every business leader after they've met him/interacted with his government, then he's riding on a big fluffy pink cloud of his own "safe" supply. Well done Don Garber. The local leaderships usually just suck BC government's gaslighting and lies up —which is how we got here. @thesoccerdon #cdnpoli #whitecaps Role tape...

@Mtn40A @specurran Pointing out that if you have no intention to stay in office full term don't seek re-election and cost tax payers $$ in bi elections is something we should all be able to agree on of the people we elect to office. Not everything is a "fight" 👍

Jonathan Wilkinson asked voters for another mandate just a year ago—turns out it was more of a short-term contract with a European exit clause. Off to Brussels on the public dime, while constituents get a by-election. And we wonder why cynicism about politics keeps growing. Meanwhile, I’m still here—ready to compete for the honour of serving this community, and actually see the job through. No exit clause. No backup posting. Just a commitment to stay and serve.

Congrats to @JasminLaine_ for her recent podcast with Pierre. She’s one of the best in the country. Unfortunately, Erin O’Toole has a disdain for influencers. Guess he doesn’t know that over 70% of all influencer views, GO TO NON-FOLLOWERS. And Conservative influencers have greater views than MSM. He also mentioned that he wants Conservatives to be more “moderate”. The very thing that got him FIRED as leader. If anything, I WANT US TO BE MORE CONSERVATIVE. WE NEED TO HOLD OUR VIEWS & NOT BEND TO LIBERAL PROPAGANDA. It seems to work, give. Carney has zero issues stealing a Conservative ideas & watering them down as his own.

This is the House Leader for the B.C. Conservative Party. This is who John RUSTAD and Trevor Halford thinks should be the Second in Command. This is why B.C. is such back shape and why the party needs a Leader that will stop this type of Rhetoric.
Paul Ratchford@P_Ratchford

The Conservative Party of BC MLA for Chilliwack-Cultus Lake is on a mission to “decolonize” all of us “one tongue at a time.” This is what you call a poison pill for a political party, my friends. The reconciliation industry’s tentacles run deep in our politics.

Either way its better than being kept in ground doing no one any good. I believe at current capacity we could have fulfilled those contracts and not made a dent in our supply for local consumption though. Could have been paying down debt or helping farmers and AG sector so we rely less on imports.

@BryanBC81 @MarcNixon24 I'd prefer if we kept our natural gas a little more protected. Possibly one of the most important pieces to our infrastructure. That's fertilizer for our food, not just a fuel to combust for energy consumption.
