People that work with trusted agitators don't hide things from them, or cut them out of work. They are happy to ask questions about design, the process and your opinion on work because they trust you. You are a good strategic ally to them. They see your value demonstrated.

A trusted agitator understands the importance of building, trust, credibility and positive relationships before storming in with all guns blazing, or martyring themselves in the name of design. You don't have to sacrifice your beliefs and principles to follow this ethos.
