Trying to look at all sides fairly. Truth does matter. When agenda gets in the way everyone loses.

@DPearsonPHL Any event attended by the President, Vice President and majority of the Cabinet should be held wherever security is best. Yes, they would be in the new ballroom at the White House.

We were there front and center. That venue wasn’t built to accommodate an event with the line of succession for the U.S. government. After witnessing last night, drop the TDS and build the White House ballroom for events exactly like these.

Now that we've successfully exposed the affair between a married NFL coach and an NFL reporter, can our crack team of national journalists please give us a quick update on the $16 billion of tax payer money that was fraudulently handed out to fake Somali daycares in Minneapolis?

We’ve been debating and discussing for weeks. But one thing is clear: @PHLschools need help now. We don’t have the luxury of treating buildings and staffing as separate challenges when our students need both. This moment calls for a united @PHLCouncil and Commonwealth ready to deliver what our children deserve. Let’s get down to the facts, and then get down to action. Our children are worth it.

"@PhillyMayor’s rideshare tax is fair, reasonable, and necessary to raise revenue for the school district, helping preserve 340 positions that would otherwise be lost. Our kids are worth this.” — Arthur Steinberg, President of @PFTLocal3

New York has a rideshare tax. Chicago has one. Washington, D.C., San Francisco, and Baltimore do too—along with 50+ cities and municipalities nationwide. Why not Philadelphia? Our kids are worth it.

Our @PHLschools face a $300 million structural deficit. Without help, 340 school jobs — teachers, counselors, climate staff that help keep schools safe - will be eliminated. As Mayor, I cannot stand by and let that happen. That is why I’m proposing a $1 per ride rideshare tax to generate $48 million a year for our schools and students. Coupled with a small Use & Occupancy levy on cell towers, my plan would raise $50.4 million a year for schools. Don’t believe the ads. The rideshare companies can choose to pay this tax and not pass it on to riders. Our kids are worth it!

@KYWNewsradio Come into the country legally - like most of our forefathers did. Over 10 million people just came over the border with no vetting. It’s not racism.. it’s the law of averages that a percentage were criminals. Don’t we have enough native born crazies to worry about?

Hundreds of millions of people throughout the world are immersed in extreme poverty. Yet, disproportionate wealth remains in the hands of a few. It is an unjust scenario, in the face of which we cannot fail to question ourselves and commit to change things. There is no lack of resources at the root of disparities, but the need to address solvable problems related to a more equitable distribution of wealth, to be achieved with moral sense and honesty.

@PhillyInquirer Purpose of the Presidents house panels is to tell the story of the birth of our nation. They didn’t. They were all about slavery. We are much more than that. No country in the world does not have either slavery or involuntary servitude in its past.
