Why was NEET 2024 not cancelled but NEET 2026 is. Simple answer - Results. Once results are declared - repeat exam is almost never done. This has been the playbook. In 2024 - leak and its confirmation was after Results were declared. This time - since results were not declared - exam was cancelled. This time - it was captured earlier.

Why is Vijay so sad after becoming CM? In every video and photo he looks fed up and gives the vibe that he is already done. As a body language expert I can see that he is not happy and it is clearly visible. Possible reasons: - He may have fought the election for fun and thought that he might win 4–5 MLAs gain political presence, and continue working in films. But now he has become CM and has no idea what to do next. - He is upset because of his personal life, like divorce and stuff. - He is missing his film life, where everything was fictional and easy, but now as a CM he is getting a reality check and regretting his decision. Whatever the reason, if his heart is not happy doing this work, he should resign and look for happiness.

No government can be perfect. If Vijay is able to provide decent governance for next 5 years, not going to be easy to remove him from power. He is just 51, very active and energetic. Has the charisma of MGR. And I think no one from film industry ever quit at their peak. Vijay has been the most popular hero in Tamil Nadu and is the highest paid actor in the country. I can understand why opposition is extremely uncomfortable with Vijay coming to power. Unless he blunders, not going to be easy to defeat him. Annamalai and Udayanidhi have tough challenge ahead of them. Let them now work as a great opposition.

@dmuthuk @ikaveri Just low IQ sycophancy for actors from people incapable of separating the fictional film world from reality. But if it means even one term without Dravidian parties ruling TN, can't complain too much.

I absolutely had no clue about the kind of craze or obsession a section of people in Tamil Nadu have for Vijay. Old timers say the only person to enjoy such a craze before Vijay was MGR. They say the kind of craze Vijay has is even higher than MGR, amplified by smartphone and social media era. I wouldn't have believed at all had I not started seeing myself, hearing many similar stories from known circle and so on. They cry, laugh, dance, whistle and pray for Vijay. I was told many women even from well educated forward communities too were conducting prayers in temples for last few days. So the craze is not restricted to any particular profile or section of the society. From small children to youth to women, the kind of craze for Vijay is beyond my understanding. I'm unable to understand what makes them to be like this. What Vijay has done to enjoy this level of trust? I've seen his films too. May be they saw thing which people like me could not see on the screen. Why I'm unable to make any comment on this phenomenon because I'm clueless as to how this would impact Tamil Nadu and it's people in the future. Need to see how this story unfolds. This is Vijay's time.

I chose DNB Medicine over MD (AIR 817). Wasn’t an easy or obvious decision tbh. Lot of confusion, lot of second-guessing. Now I am 4 months into residency at Hinduja hospital Mumbai still learning, still figuring things out. If you’re in that same “MD vs DNB” dilemma AMA :)

@gauravkheterpal Who will be legally responsible if anything goes wrong? I know many times AI lied or didn’t know how to. Diagnosis is only part of treatment and so many other things that need to be taken of.

I collected my mother's CT Scan film from the diagnostic center at 9 pm in the night. - The diagnostic center said Radiologist will come at 11 AM next day and will prepare the report based on it - The ENT specialist said he'll only be available after 3 PM next day - I got back home from diagnostic center and rather than spend an anxious night with uncertainty, I decided to use AI to do some analysis myself. - I fed the CT scan film images to @GeminiApp asking for a diagnosis and also A) what the radiologist would recommend in his report & A) what the ENT would suggest for further treatment based on the report - Gemini was ~99% accurate with the verbiage with the report that came out from the Radiologist next day - Visited the ENT at 3 PM and no surprise - he suggested the likely course of treatment prescribed by Gemini the earlier night (with some minor deviations) While we may be still some distance away from having AGI treat patients without a 'human in the loop', these kind of AI advancements are so reassuring that technology is meant to make human lives better. Disagreeing with a president’s policies is legitimate. But “mentally unbalanced” and “ravings” — that’s not analysis. That’s escalation. Make the policy argument. It’s strong enough on its own. No war declaration. No congressional vote. Real casualties. Real costs. That case stands without attacking his mental state.

UPI is designed by NPCI which is an Indian Organisation, yet 85% UPI payment system market share is with American Apps like Gpay, PhonePe. If we don't have any Indian option, then it's ok. But in UPI, we have Paytm, BHIM, Payzapp etc. Why we are not supporting Indian apps, if equally great options are available?? Disc - I use Payzapp

If your goal is fat loss, the gym bros have been misleading you. Lifting weights is essential for health, but if you believe it is the best way to lose fat, especially visceral (belly) fat, you have fallen for a marketing myth. The Evidence (The STRRIDE Trial & Beyond): One of the most comprehensive studies on this (Duke University) compared aerobic training, resistance training, and a combination. The results were clear: 🔸Aerobic Training led to significantly more fat loss and a greater reduction in visceral fat than weight training. 🔸Resistance Training is great for building lean mass, but it had zero significant impact on decreasing fat mass or total body weight when used alone. 🔸Visceral Fat: Runners consistently show lower levels of internal organ fat, which is the most dangerous type for metabolic health. The Harsh Reality: You can "chase the pump" for years and still carry a stubborn belly. Why is it so? Because the calorie expenditure of a heavy lifting session is often overcompensated for by increased appetite and decreased movement throughout the rest of the day. Meanwhile, regular runners/cardio enthusiasts: ✔Burn more calories per minute of effort. ✔Experience better lipid oxidation (fat burning). ✔Accumulate significantly less visceral fat as they age. Why won’t the fitness industry tell you this? 🔸"Lift heavy to get shredded" is a sexier sell. It sells supplements, gym memberships, and expensive coaching programs. 🔸"Go for a 45-minute run 4 times a week" is free, simple, and effective, but it doesn’t move product. Reality Check: ✅Strength Training: Builds the "engine" (muscle) and preserves bone density. ✅Running/Cardio: Actually burns the "fuel" (fat). If fat loss is your #1 goal: 1. Prioritize Zone 2 & Aerobic sessions. This is your primary fat-loss tool. 2. Use Weights as the Support. 2–3 days a week is enough to maintain muscle while the cardio does the heavy lifting for fat loss. Bottom Line: The "Cardio kills gains" era is over. If you are skipping the track and wondering why your waistline is not budging despite hitting PRs on the bench press...You are playing the wrong game. Dr Sudhir Kumar X:@hyderabaddoctor (Disclaimer: Information provided here is general in nature. Discuss individual exercise regimen with your fitness trainer and physician.)

Not a fan of Congress, but its a reality that because of PM Manmohan Singh gov only first time a Pakistan terrorist caught alive, interrogated, proof collected of Pakistan involvement, exposed in the world, put Pakistan in terror Grey list internationally AND executed Kasab to death for his crime. Unlike Modi gov where no one was caught, no proof to frame & shame Pakistan in all terrorists attacks post 2014 were given. Even during ABV in 2000, IC-811 flight was hijacked from India & BJP gov handed over biggest terrorist Masood Azhar just to free Indians in that flight.

Is there anyone who is surprised reading this? If you watch any cricket match closely, there would be several moments, which would raise suspicion that something is "fishy".

🚨"I bribed the umpire!" Virender Sehwag’s shocking confession about Pakistani umpire Asad Rauf! 😱🏏 🚨 Virendra Sehwag said 🗣️ "There used to be an umpire named Asad Rauf, who was from Pakistan. During a match in Kanpur, Yuvraj Singh got out to a plumb LBW. We all thought he was out, but Rauf gave it 'not out.' When he came out later, I asked him, 'Asad bhai, that was clearly out.' He replied, 'He’s our boy, how can I give Yuvi out? I said, 'I’m also your boy!' He replied, 'Yes, you are, but you don't give me anything!' I asked what he wanted, and he said, 'Nothing much—just a pair of shoes, a hat, glasses, a T-shirt.' Since I was the brand ambassador for Adidas and Oakley at the time, I arranged all of that for him. The next match was in Mohali. I was batting on 92 or 93 when I tried a hard cut shot. There was a clear 'click' sound, and it was so loud that Rahul Dravid even stood up in the dressing room to come out to bat. But the umpire gave it 'not out!' Ricky Ponting ran up to me and asked, 'Did you nick it?' I said, 'Yeah.' Then he went to Asad Rauf and said, 'Veeru is saying he nicked it!' They both came over to me, and Asad Rauf asked, 'Did you nick it?' I said, 'No!' Ponting said, 'He’s lying!' but Asad Rauf saved me that one time, and I went on to score my century."

Healthcare in India is becoming a money making machine. A friend’s grandmother is in ICU for the last 4 days. Daily medicine cost alone is around 40–50K. He is not allowed inside ICU. He cannot see the treatment. He cannot see which medicines are actually being used. He can only stand outside and keep paying. Medicines go from pharmacy to ICU. Families don’t know what is used, what is not. Maybe some goes back from the back door. But there is no transparency. Only bills. Private hospitals know families won’t argue when their loved one is in ICU. This is not just treatment. For many families, this is financial destruction in the name of healthcare.
