@rob_jepson @andypierucciUT Rob, the President absolutely played a role in inciting violence today. He has falsely made allegations and claimed to have won the election, and continues to stoke the flames and dump gas on the fire.

What is happening at the United States Capitol building is not a peaceful protest and completely un-American. Storming the U.S. Capitol and physically harming and pepper spraying police officers is criminal, brutish, and not appropriate. It is absolutely unacceptable.

@RepChrisStewart I'm sorry, Rep. Stewart, but you have helped enable this. It's very weak to speak out now.

Protesters who are breaking windows, threatening violence, and accosting police are behaving inexcusably. It is un-American. This must stop now!
