This is a tempest in a teapot. SpaceXAI has not even had its IPO and the talking heads are already pontificating that the deal to acquire Tesla will not be good for its shareholders. Chill out guys (unless you are looking for clicks). If and when SpaceXAI makes an offer for Tesla there BODs of both the companies and their shareholders will have ample time to study the proposal and vote on it. It is not a "done" deal as some people are saying.

We agree with Jo Bhakdi, Cern Basher, Tesla Boomer Mama, Randy Kirk, Herbert and others that Tesla should be worth a _lot_ more ONCE Robotaxi and/or Optimus kick off.
Here Jo argues that Tesla should be worth $6,000 in 2031 in his base case, but because there are so many eyes on $TSLA then there is no way it could be fundamentally mispriced by Wall Street and the public.
Yes, Jo says he doesn’t think it will trade fully at these valuations. But even if it is half these valuations, then it is underpriced today.
Bare minimum the market is pricing one of two things: (1) a low probability of success (especially on Optimus), and (2) longer timeframes until scale is reached.
If Jo is correct that the market is accurately pricing $TSLA based on all available information, then his base case projection for the value of Tesla is wrong because the market is not pricing in 50% chance Tesla hits those numbers in 2031.

I Lost my wallet in Tokyo. Like completely lost it. I had all my cards, my cash, everything. I was freaking out.
Went back to every place I'd been that day. Nothing. Went to the police station to file a report, not expecting anything.
The officer asked for my name and address where I was staying. Went to check the lost and found.
I came back with my wallet. Everything is still in it. All the cash, all the cards, even receipts I didn't care about.
I was shocked. Asked where it was found. He checked the report and said "Family Mart, Shibuya. Turned in by an employee 20 minutes after you left."
I went back to that Family Mart to thank whoever found it. The employee who turned it in wasn't there, but his coworker said he'll pass along the message.
I asked what the person's name was so I could come back. The coworker looked confused and said "he doesn't need thanks. It is normal to return a wallet."
Like it was the most obvious thing in the world. Of course you return a lost wallet. Why wouldn't you?
I'd been living in the US too long, I guess. Forgot that some places, doing the right thing is just... normal.

@luiz_vidal This is exactly why the US cannot pull out of NATO because they need the airbases to project power. Lol

Prince Sultan Airbase costs $0 to deny.
Project Freedom cost the U.S. everything.
Here's the math nobody is saying out loud:
→ Trump announced Project Freedom on social media Sunday — no call to Riyadh first
→ Saudi Arabia denied Prince Sultan Airbase access
→ Saudi Arabia denied airspace transit
→ A direct Trump-MBS call failed to fix it
→ The Pentagon had ships lined up and ready — frozen in place
→ The operation became geometrically impossible without that air corridor
The official reason for Tuesday's pause: "great progress" toward a deal.
The actual reason: the U.S. had no way to fly the mission.
Two U.S. officials confirmed it to NBC.
The Strait of Hormuz operation required regional airspace.
Regional airspace requires a phone call before a Truth Social post.
That call didn't happen.
One uncoordinated announcement → one furious kingdom → one failed Trump-MBS call → one grounded operation.
The most powerful military on Earth was stopped not by Iranian missiles, not by a naval blockade, not by a counter-strike.
By a denied permission slip.
You can have carriers. You can have destroyers. You can have the entire Pacific Fleet.
None of it moves without the airspace of the country you forgot to call.
Prepare accordingly. 🚨🚨🚨
I'll keep you updated. Turn on notifications. 🚨

If you listen to this, you're a fool. I've known literally thousands of men who shaped their identity around those three jobs, then had that used against them in family court to strip them of everything they had.
NEVER, EVER listen to a woman about what a man should be. The actual three jobs they have in mind is SERVANT, SLAVE, and SCAPEGOAT.

As men, you have three jobs: PROTECT, PROVIDE, and LEAD. Do that, and she'll give you the world.

On the night of 30 September / 1 October 2016, armed intruders stormed the Heunis family’s smallholding north of Pretoria.
Heavily pregnant Mariandra Heunis woke to a gun cocked at her head. Her husband Johann (43) was shot multiple times. Five times in total, including execution-style in the head, right in front of her and their terrified children.
Six-year-old Mieke Heunis screamed “No!” as the killers attacked her father. In a desperate, innocent attempt to save him, the little girl held out her piggy bank and offered it to the armed men: “I’ve got money. You can take my piggy bank.”
It didn’t stop them.
They shot Johann dead in front of his wife and daughter anyway. One bullet narrowly missed Mieke as she screamed hysterically. The attackers then held a gun to Mariandra’s head while demanding information about other children in the house.
They left with almost nothing, just phones, after unleashing pure sadistic violence on a family that had nothing for them to steal.
This is the level of cold-blooded evil South African families face. A six-year-old girl offering her life savings in coins to stop her daddy from being murdered, and the attackers felt nothing.
Mariandra gave birth to their fourth child shortly after while grieving her husband.

Surprising amount of charity is of this kind.
My ex, Tess, and I used to give to Koala Rescue. Years later, I found that they just sort of assign you a random ~bear that lives outdoors. Hundreds of people have the same one. Your money doesn't buy it food (they only eat one thing), but rather goes to support various green causes.
Etc.

@mattvanswol A friend of mine donated to an orphanage for over a decade and one day he stopped by to check on the orphans. What he found was a room full of people working the phones for donations and zero kids. Not even one kid for show. Zero.

After much prayer and careful thought, I’ve decided to join Restore Britain, led by Rupert Lowe.
I was first drawn to stand for Reform UK because of its strong anti establishment principles, its focus on everyday hard working people, and its commitment to protecting and celebrating British culture and identity. Those values resonated deeply with me and with many others who felt that mainstream politics had lost touch with ordinary families and communities.
However, since serving as an independent councillor, I’ve spent a lot of time reflecting on how I can best use my time and energy to deliver real change, and I’ve come to realise that I can’t do that effectively on my own.
Real change needs a strong and organised movement, people pulling in the same direction with the courage to act, and I believe Restore Britain is building exactly that, a bold movement that puts British communities first without compromise.
That’s why I’m making this move. My faith as a Christian calls me to act with honesty, compassion and boldness, even when it isn’t easy, and this is one of those moments.
I know some people will question this decision, but my focus remains the same, on those who want to work but are being priced out of the job market, left stuck on benefits with nothing meaningful to do, and the real impact that has on people’s mental health.
Strong families built on responsibility and love are the foundation of strong communities, and we need to Restore that!
We also cannot ignore the serious institutional failures we’ve seen over the years, including under Keir Starmer, which allowed grooming gangs to exploit and devastate vulnerable British girls. Protecting the innocent must always come before political correctness, and I support real action and accountability on this.
This isn’t about political drama or party games, it’s about putting our communities first, secure borders, common sense, accountability, and dealing with the issues people face every day, the cost of living, housing, local services and infrastructure here in Bridgend.
Nothing changes on the ground for you. I’ll continue as I always have, holding surgeries, dealing with casework, attending meetings and being visible across Pyle, Kenfig Hill and Cefn Cribwr.
With just over a year until the 2027 local elections, I’m more determined than ever to deliver real results. Together we can restore pride, opportunity and common sense starting in our own communities.
Thank you for your continued trust and support.
Cllr Owain Clatworthy

I voted to extend TPS for Haitians because I cannot, in good conscience, send people who were lawfully granted protection here, followed our laws, and built lives under our rules back to rape, murder, and chaos in a lawless Haiti. This is completely separate from amnesty or illegal immigration. Conflating the two is dangerous.
