@JacobCHatch @PROreferees Terrible by @PROreferees. Makes zero sense that there's a no call on the Olatunji DOGSO and then the center calls one of the softest penalties I've ever seen for the Galaxy.

One day @PROreferees will acknowledge they have an officiating problem in MLS & fix it. Today is not that day, as clearly evidenced by RSL-LAG.

@BiH_Benjo @andyblarsen I thought we had the opposite problem. Nobody wanted to shoot. Too many times we just passed around in the final third until we lost possession. Only 4 shots on goal.

@andyblarsen Young players seemed selfish to me. Everyone seemed like they wanted to be the guy that scored against Messi.

A few RSL thoughts: - honestly happy with the crowd tonight… probably more RSL support than I expected, great vibes, great tailgating - they have Rodrigo de Paul and our second DP is Justen Glad, I mean… just a different level of ambition

@nshrader10 @stuholden Yeah, SKC is not good but Gozo’s got 5 goal contributions in 6 starts and has played this well vs good teams (Sounders, San Diego) while adapting to a new RWB role. His first game vs Vancouver was a bit rough.

I really don’t think it’s out of the question to consider a late flyer on Zavier Gozo making the #USMNT squad. 19 years old, but the kid is fearless, full of swagger and has been on a heater. We’ve seen crazier things…. 🤔

Would you rather have a coach who stays, but consistently wins around 20 games and rarely competes for a conference title… Or a coach who builds a program that wins at a high level, competes for championships, and yes — might draw national attention as a result? Most people, when they’re honest, choose the second option.

There’s been a lot of reaction to the hire of Ben Jacobson — excitement, frustration, questions about fit. I’ll start with this: I intentionally wasn’t involved in the hiring process. So this is coming from a fresh set of eyes and my own perspective, especially through an NIL and roster-building lens.
