Rebuilt the doeverything.app site from Framer to Next.js with Claude Code. Framer is fast to start but you hit invisible walls fast. Now I own the whole stack. Took me about a week to build and release because I wanted to get the foundation right, but pretty happy with the result. It was also my first time building something from scratch using CC and the speed of iteration has been amazing!
@SebastianRoehl@HabitKit Congrats, well deserved! I'm curious how many keywords and across which countries do you track in Astro? I think I'm tracking way too many for no particular reason other than curiosity, wonder if you have an opinion on this?
First time I see @HabitKit on #1 for the keyword "habit tracker" in a country. Austria just has a "difficulty" of 23, but maybe other countries will follow 🤞
@SebastianRoehl I don't use Cursor but this looks cool! Regarding iOS simulator, I saw this the other day for automating simulator interactions from Claude Code: incubator.callstack.com/agent-device/. Yet to try it myself, but looked promising.
@SebastianRoehl Sounds interesting, do you mind sharing how it works? I've been manually copying and pasting in Claude, but I also am not at your scale yet 😀
My app business made over half a million last year.
Support emails? Still go straight to my personal inbox 🙈
But now I have an AI helper I built with Codex that auto-drafts replies and learns from my past responses.
Built the whole thing in one night. Would have taken me days in the past.
Coming soon to @doeverythingapp — a full colour picker for note backgrounds 🌈
Slide through hue and saturation to find the exact shade you want. Millions of possibilities.
And you don't have to worry about dark mode — every colour you pick automatically gets optimised for both themes ✨

@screensdesign_ Thanks, spent quite some time tweaking how they look across all colour palettes in light and dark modes. Worth the effort in the end imo
Coming soon to Do Everything – notes with background colours 🎨
10 hand-picked presets, each with a dark mode counterpart so your notes look great no matter what.
Spent way too long fine-tuning these but the result is worth it ✌️

@billy_dyball Thanks Billy! That's a great suggestion. I've thought about it in the past but haven't prioritised it yet. I'll give it another thought! 🙌
@robinmitra Looks super clean Robin, have you thought about adding voice to text, I know lots of people on the go don’t always have time to type out what they’re thinking
@robinmitra Trial and error is the way! With my app I have 10 color themes and I tested each one on 3 devices with different screens. Some colors that looked great on AMOLED looked washed out on LCD.
Thanks! Yeah, basically hand-picked and tweaked every pair myself! Started with colours I liked, then adjusted until they hit good contrast, and still felt nice when switching modes. Mostly trial & error + squinting at my phone haha.
What color/accessibility stuff do you struggle with most? Happy to share my learnings.
@robinmitra The dark mode counterpart for each preset is a nice touch — most apps just slap a dark bg and call it a day. Did you hand-pick each pair or use some color theory approach? I always struggle with accessible color combos in my apps 😅
Just simplified the planning flow in Do Everything. Instead of two separate buttons for creating and choosing tasks, there's now a single one that opens a sheet where you can do both!
Pick from existing tasks or create a new one from there, no more closing and reopening the sheet.
Tiny UX win but it makes daily planning feel way less clunky ✌️

@jonathanzliu People treat Android like it’s iOS, and it’s not. Likely always monetizes worse than iOS will, but there are a ton of proven tactics that increase monetization on Play
@AliAbdaal Check out @doeverythingapp - a productivity app with tasks, notes, lists and planning features.
I started building it because none of the existing ones did what I wanted them to do.
Still early days but I use it every day with my family 😀
Finally received my Tevaplanter after 2 years since backing it on Kickstarter! Great job team!
Just sowed Chia seeds today, and can't wait to see how they turn out 😍
