@saradietschy my biggest goal in buying cameras was to take great pictures of my toddler. huge need for a youtube video by an expert, nothing out there. i ended up with an a7rv for cropping but also better face tracking, super short shutter speed, iso on auto, 10fps. 🤷♂️

Not the biggest fan of the "megapixels don't matter" thing when it comes to a photo camera
The ability to crop the heck out of a photo is so useful. Especially when photographing small humans.

@ViolinMulcahy what we need is a blind study comparing one group of 5 year olds who do go to concerts every couple weeks for a year vs a group who do not. compare lifetime concert attendance and money donated between age 5 and death. will only take 80 years 😅

@robknopper1 The market on whitecross st mon-fri lunchtime and post concert Iskele / Cozzo there! Also two Korean restaurants on that street. Seoul 90 at the end has awesome Korean Fried Chicken!

When I see the huge drum kits of the rock cats I always wonder, "How many of those pieces do they actually play?" (Certain jazz cats too, especially those posed shots of Sonny Greer with everything but the kitchen sink)

I'm a casual fan of Copeland and the Police; in high school I listened to SYNCHRONICITY and learned to play the "backwards" drum beat to "Murder by Numbers." Bought a book of Police photos and noted "Fuck off you" written on Copeland's drum set
