Texas football coach Steve Sarkisian was asked by a fan at The Touchdown Club of Houston if there is any way to get the College Football Playoff Committee to factor in strength of schedule in their decision-making. Sarkisian said there's a team in this state that plays in another conference that, if he played his 2s and 3s, his team would go undefeated, and they'll make the playoffs this year.

Shots fired at Texas Tech? Texas' Steve Sarkisian via @AnwarRichardson: "There's a team in our state in another conference w/a schedule that I would argue if I played w/our 2's & 3's we could go undefeated & they’ll probably make the CFP this year” 💀 on3.com/college/texas-…

For the longest they claimed “it just means more.” Now it’s a bunch of excuses.. #TrueStory

NEW: Steve Sarkisian took a shot at Texas Tech while discussing how the College Football Playoff Committee factors strength of schedule👀 “There's a team in our state that plays in another conference that has a schedule that I would argue if I played with our twos and our threes, we could go undefeated, and they'll probably make the CFP this year.” (via @AnwarRichardson) on3.com/college/texas-…

Last I checked there are more quality opponents out there you could add to your non-conf. schedule that aren't named Texas or A&M if they "won't schedule you"(maybe look at their marquee non conference opponents the last few years for some inspo!) But you don't. Interesting!

People are concerned about paying their mortgage or rent, affording groceries and paying for gas, not about putting together a $1.8 billion fund for the President and his allies to pay whomever they wish with no legal precedent or accountability. This is adding to our national debt. If there needs to be a settlement, the administration should bring it to Congress to decide.

Yes, the United States has the most progressive tax system in the world. The top 1% pay 40% of taxes, the bottom 50% pay 3% of taxes. We can make it even more progressive by zeroing out taxes on the bottom half. It’s a small amount of the total tax revenue but very meaningful to people in this group.

Thank you. The important part is zeroing out taxes on the bottom half. Best way to put money in someone’s pocket is to not take it out in the first place. Bottom half is only 3% of total tax revenue. But it’s very meaningful to that person. Zero it out.

This is 100% accurate. The boomer says “why are young people paying $28 for lunch? THATS why you’re struggling” The same boomer, would go out to eat and get the same meal for $11.49, in his day The boomer spending $28 on lunch, in his day, would have been extravagant spending. The boomer cannot comprehend that the same $11.49 sandwich, drink, and fries he would get on his lunch break, now costs $28 They simply cannot comprehend it. Boomers can’t conceptualize the inflation that they themselves created

Loaf of bread = $5 Peanut butter = $4 Jelly = $4 18 pack of chips = $12 Bag of apples = $5 Total = $30 And you'll have lunch for an entire week or two. $2-4 average per day. Inflation isn't the problem. Your spending habits are.

A little-known hack: 2 slices of Aldi wheat bread: $0.17 3 oz of Aldi deli turkey: $0.86 1 slices Aldi cheddar: $0.15 1 condiment of your choice: $0.02 1 apple: $0.53 1 hard boiled egg: $0.14 5 carrot sticks: $0.17 Cold water from the tap: $0.01 Total: $2.05 You can do this.
