@souljagoyteller Asimov’s Foundation is a good, well, foundation. The Hyperion Cantos is good but books 1 and 2 are clearly better than 3 and 4 imo, Hyperion book 1 has some of my favorite world building in any scifi book ever. Dune is pretty dense compared to these two options

Pittsburgh urbanism is pretty strong, but the intercity train station is a huge flop. Despite the central location it feels like a suburban amshack designed by someone with a fetish for transit pariah status.

@SlopHq As someone who like LVT, thinks they are efficient and would like to see them implemented, the missing piece from all the economic arguments is the immense political will they would take. Not only to put it in place, but to keep it around. Functionally, I'd say it's ~impossible

I respect Gentry tremendously, but we have to move past this type of thinking. The Predators have not won a playoff series in *eight* years. The Stanley Cup Final run was *nine* years ago. The franchise and its fans need to graduate from “just happy to be here.”

I watched the game. I watched Saros give up a rebound and not get his sake to the post in time on the MacKinnon goal. I watched Saros get rattled for the no-call on the second goal. The first goal nothing could have been done. You know Pekka Rinne won games that his team should have lost 12-2. You can do that!
