Hamas launched thousands of rockets at Israel, 30% of them fell inside Gaza, killing women and children there. Hamas also uses the civilian population in Gaza as a human shield and places its headquarters and rocket launchers in hospitals, schools, kindergartens, mosques and residential buildings. Hamas started this war and Hamas is responsible for the current situation where innocent people on both sides of the border are killed every day.
