Big picture inequality is still terrible, tons of people In unregulated gig work, housing is too expensive, education and childcare are expensive. I think telling people you know their situation better than them is not a way to win

@NordicRest @beef_skeleton I mean, this is probably true but negligible. Just googled and median house price was $387,600 in Nov 2023. What percentage of houses do you think are exactly that price? I don't think it's enough (1% or more) to affect the 50% number if you're rounding to whole percents.

@beef_skeleton Not even true. There may be multiple houses at the median price, making fewer than 50% have a sale price *below* the median. e.g. 1, 3, 3, 3, 3, 5: median price is 3, but only 16% are for sale below the median price.
