@jawwwn_ @peterthiel Me: looking for money everywhere
Also me: not finding any money anywhere
English

Peter Thiel on DEI, woke culture, and political correctness in 1996:
“The multicultural educator at Stanford used say, ‘I started looking for racism everywhere, and I started finding racism everywhere.’”
“And indeed he did—if you look for anything everywhere, you will start finding it everywhere.”
“If you’re a feminist and believe everything that is longer than it is wide is a symbol of male oppression l, then you will start finding sexism everywhere.”
“When you start looking for racism everywhere, and start finding it everywhere, it’s only a small step to finding racists everywhere. There’s nothing wrong with that if the racists are really out there, but I’m going to suggest to you, they really aren’t. The problems of racism, sexism, other forms of oppression, have been vastly exaggerated, and as a result, people get unjustly accused.”
“A culture of complaint leads to a culture of blame.”

@Schuldensuehner It's not at all about women choosing careers.
But go on...
English

The birth-rate collapse isn’t just about money, housing, or women choosing careers. The sharper diagnosis: fewer couples. Across the world, young people still say they want kids. But they socialize less, partner less, commit less – and become parents less. Smartphones didn’t make us infertile. They may have made us lonelier. The fertility crisis is really a bonding crisis. ft.com/content/fba35e…

@FirstSquawk I got rejected from a few MBA programs a decade ago.
Now those same business schools and many others are running ads on Instagram to attract anyone willing to pay.
Definitely not the exclusive meccas they once were.

@elonmusk Canada has lots of unused land and lots of smart people. Just saying. Time to play that Canadian citizenship card.

SpaceX is considering several locations domestically and internationally to build the world’s most advanced spaceports!
SpaceX@SpaceX
It’s no secret that we intend to launch Starship a lot, targeting thousands of flights per year. That cadence will require the ability to launch from many different locations, so we are constantly exploring to find viable sites to expand Starship operations in the future, both domestically and internationally

@alexoakdev So this is how I become rich😏
I fucking love working out.

Someone built a fitness app using the same psychological mechanics as gambling
This might work better than every normal fitness app 😭😭
You bet money on whether you’ll hit 10,000 steps today
If you fail, you lose your money
If you succeed, you split the money from everyone who didn’t
So disciplined people literally profit off lazy people
Most fitness apps try motivating you with streaks and notifications
This one motivates you with financial fear
Imagine realizing at 11:52pm you still need 1,700 more steps or you lose $30
Entire friend groups would be outside walking laps around their neighborhood before midnight trying not to lose their steppa challenge
It sounds stupid but this would probably motivate people better than any other fitness product
Would you use this yourself?

As a movement professional with mild autism I always knew the Elon wave was not a Nazi salute.
A nazi salute is a pure shoulder flexion in the sagittal plane with no elbow flexion.
The Elon (and Mamdani) wave starts with an elbow extension then into shoulder abduction and flexion at a 45 degree angle.
The difference is so obvious 🤓
English

Same move. Same hand on the heart, same wave to the crowd. Musk did it and gets called a Nazi to this day. Mamdani does it and those same people have not said a word.
Well, not exactly. Once the side by side clips went viral, some of them did speak up. Not to apologize to Musk. To defend Mamdani.
Suddenly the gesture is not the gesture. Suddenly we need to talk about arm speed. Whether the fingers wiggled at the end. Whether he was smiling. Whether his grandparents were in the right party. A year ago none of that mattered. The hand went up, the verdict came down. Now we get a forensic seminar on millimeters and microseconds to prove Mamdani's arm moved slower.
Mamdani's own press office said "in no way was this a Nazi salute." Funny. Musk said the same thing. His did not count. Mamdani's did, instantly.
That tells you everything. The "Nazi salute" thing was never about the gesture. If it were, they would be screaming right now. They are not. It was about Musk. They hate him because he is the richest man in the world and he was attacking their ideological piggy bank with DOGE, so they smeared him.
Mamdani is on their team, so he gets a pass, plus a defense team running stopwatch analysis. Same hand, opposite verdict.
A wave is a wave. The rule does not change based on who is waving. When it does, you are not watching principle. You are watching a hit job.

@CollinRugg Somewhere along the way compassion for the less fortunate mutated into tolerance for degeneracy.
And that needs to stop.
Compassion for victims of crime is well overdue and finally people running for office are not afraid to say it out loud and do something about it.

NEW: Spencer Pratt says he will be implementing a three-week 'grace period' in Los Angeles before he unleashes on criminals.
Pratt says he will also be bringing in the CDC to combat the "medieval diseases" his city has.
"My plan is: First three weeks, signs up across the city. No more nakedness, no more drug use, no more robbing, no more dog abuse."
"Then once we start enforcing laws, boom, streets will be back..."
"People are just living in feces and drug use and dogs burning... We need these streets cleaned."

@elonmusk Too bad women don't get paid to be mothers.
In fact, motherhood is a huge financial burden even to women in the developed world.
Perhaps you should use your power and influence to change that.

@AutismCapital @DINOR0AR Canadian PM Mark Carney is the Judge?

Many people still are not using AI for their work or life. This is because the education system still teaches us to wait for questions from the teacher and then try to formulate the answer. With AI, the user has to come up with the questions for the AI to answer. This requires creativity, ingenuity, and, of course, motivation - rare skill that sets the prompt engineers apart from the rest of us.

Ontario Premier Doug Ford just canceled Elon Musk’s Starlink contract and banned all U.S. companies from government contracts in response to Trump’s economic war with Canada.
“It’s done, it’s gone,” Ford said. “We won’t award contracts to people who enable and encourage economic attacks on our province and our country.”
And just to be clear: “They only have President Trump to blame.”
So Trump starts a trade war, and now American businesses are getting locked out of Canada. This isn’t “tough negotiating”—this is our closest ally shutting the door on us while Trump pretends he’s “winning.”
MAGA wanted an economic war? Well, they just got one. And it’s American companies and workers who are about to feel the pain.
