At Woolworths Plattekloof this afternoon. The generator failed during the 4,5hr #Loadshedding window today resulting in millions of Rands of food going to waste. Financial cost aside, the environmental and moral cost of food wastage is shocking. #stage6 #eskom

Uninterrupted load-shedding for more than three months now and not a single protest anywhere in South Africa. Stage 6 blackouts cost the country R500 million an HOUR yet we will rather protest against a pub in Cape Town with second-hand information than protest against the ANC.

Maybe the government are trying to make #Loadshedding as kak as possible to “fix it” before voting season?! I mean, everyone loves a *hero. *A group of politicians who break something, to fix it, to make it look like like they are heroes… in a situation they have created.

Two presidents fighting each other in court while 60 million people suffer under Stage 6 loadshedding. At what point do we call out the bullshit for what it is?
