@rootallowed @gonka_ai Sheesh well done! How many GNK per day with those numbers? I spent 3 weeks getting my node working and $25 per day for around 16ish GNK daily. Literally vibe coding with Claude and it was insanely difficult. Just wasn't worth it so I've been buying on the otc dex instead.

@therealcowgy @inference_net Right there with you, cowgy. Was among the top contributors during Epoch 1 and 2 and walked away with nothing but lessons. Brutal way to learn that not every DePIN delivers on its promises. But we’ll figure out what’s next. For now, just know you’re not alone in this.

Finally, I have a closure with Kuzco/Inference DePIN @inference_net. It won't launch TGE. Rug pull, scam? Very likely. I wish I can take some legal action but I am from a 3rd world country, what more, I am broke as hell. After spending almost 1.5 years at the "so called" DePIN, I have wasted tons of money on electricity with zero returns. What is worst is that, I convince my friends to join too. Is not all lost as the GPU can be sold for probably half the money. Now, I have to prepare to close off my mini datacenter farm. I have to negotiate with the properly owner not to sue me for not staying on for 2 years. I don't how it will turn out, but I hate to think about it. I am starting to think DePIN model just don't work out anymore. Failed concept. I am sad.

@fear85213284681 @PreshyPeace @NexusLabs You’re doing the right thing! Your own computer will most likely outperform cheap VPS instances. More importantly, once multithreaded proofs are added, you’ll earn far more points than VPS users simply because of the raw computational power.

I’d recommend running on your own computer/laptop or something with dedicated resources Not too critical rn, but once Nexus enables multithreaded proves, you’ll definitely notice the difference
