VM Snapshots are like Mr Meeseeks. They exist to serve a function & then once that function is finished, they wanna be deleted. If you keep em alive too long, existence becomes painful, & eventually they'll kill something. Imagine having a chain of them #LessonsILearnedTheHardway

Again, I left a hospital, wrist band still on, cotton pasted to my arms, with a condition that eventually led to surgery, just to get into Costco pharmacy. Witnessed what you're referring to. While happening, yes, obnoxious Costco staff infiltrated the waiting crowd, pushing the Executive Card Upgrade, attempting to leverage the heat and stress to make you pay. I watched a Korean War Vet pressing down on his cart, trying to hold up his aging weight. He had the hat, the insignias, valid! The Costco chicks could care less. I pointed out the problem, asked, "do you think its right Costco attempts every morning to pick the pockets of the elderly by keeping them out in the heat," and I referred to a number of aging people, who probably can't afford to upgrade, including the Korean War Vet who by then had to let go of his cart and sit on the edge of the concrete pillars, obviously weakened. She said loudly, referring directly to the Vet, and I quote: "Well, if he'd pay to upgrade, he wouldn't have to wait!" And that's when it broke loose. "This man fought this country, etc etc. (We were really ripping, back and forth, people watching, I mean this female devil's handmaiden saw red!) As we then started to funnel inside she came after me, actually chased me inside as if I was about to be kicked out, saying, "He doesn't have an Executive Card!" I turned, the line stopped, went right at the Korean War Vet and pointed to his insignias, and said, "You see this, this is his Executive Card!" Now I'm no hero. The hero is the Vet. But this woman, (actually there were three competing for most obnoxious), could only think about her stock options. Literally trained by Costco not to see the forest from the trees. I'm not the greatest Costco customer, but I was over $3,500 a year, and that stopped right there! What made me feel good? The Vet, who came up to me and said, "thank you."

@DuckieLouise A lot of the arguments for this also don't take into account city/suburban driving and just focus on straight line distance. I have found often in cities, mismanaged traffic control systems will *favor* those who drive fast because of poorly timed traffic signals.

Driving faster literally does not save time. I forget how the math works out but it’s because the difference between the speed limit and 10 or so mph over it is so negligible that you will not even make it 30 seconds earlier if you speed. You just make it more dangerous for the people around you. So stop it lol. I promise it isn’t the least bit worth it.

Quitting streaming 13 months ago was the healthiest decision I ever made. No more questioning the fake friends in this circle and being smothered by opinion based drama alongside a company that constantly wants to compete for your own subscription revenue. ✌️

It is NOT hard to get invited to become an affiliate with the recent changes. 25 followers, minimum 3 CCV. That's it. a 1 or 2 viewer stream DOES NOT need channel points because NO ONE is redeeming them. By the time channel points become useful, you're already prob an affiliate.

@iwickztrades @TwitchSupport @ch3r0p It is *NOT* hard to qualify for affiliate so this basically makes being an affiliate useless. Someone with consistent 1 or 2 viewers don't have a need for channel point redeems because no one is using them... if you stream multiple days and have that minimum of 3, then youre fine

@akariteruu It looks like they're heavily moderating the site right now. I checked an hour ago and a ton of streamer 'boards' were still there. It looks like they're wiping all of the boards and the user account that did it. My "board" was there 2 hours ago. It's gone already.

Streamers are being turned into free, public use AI TTS voices without consent by 101soundboards, and A LOT of my mutuals are on here too. genuinely wtf. I'm so disgusted.

@yeahcantrelate @SussexHenryVIII At the very least they should patch them to open them up to be used however someone wants then. Remove any locks preventing someone from messing with it without requiring them to hack or inject something to give them access.

@microcenter has the absolute worst process for tech support. There is zero way to call the local store for *anything* and I was explicitly told by their call center that the arrangement I made with the store has to be handled by the store.

I'm not just going to bring it in for you to tell me to drop it off and come back the next day. That's COMPLETELY unreasonable and this is why I want to physically talk to a flesh and blood person at the goddamn store.

Well they called while I was on a call with another person and it just went to voicemail. Instead of leaving a call back number so I can discuss with the person at the store. They told me to just bring it in and "we will look at it." Bro. You guys are 90 minutes away

@Austin_Medzz my local theatre sold out 15 minutes after opening. Most of the people who bought one just left, and they also said they're not getting anymore. The only way to stop this stupidity is to overproduce but they never do that.

@CrashKoeck hey i love the streamdeck strategem hotkeys you have already set. the only thing i want to ask is there a way you can make a version utilize WASD for the strategem keys instead of ⬆️⬇️⬅️➡️? By default, Helldivers 2 uses WASD.
