The best part of Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey was when Odysseus flew home in a helicopter while chased by the Yakuza on speedboats and I didn’t mind because it’s a fictional tale so it doesn’t have to be accurate.

This made me smile! Amnesty has been trying to normalize the subjugation of women in Muslim countries and communities, glorify hijab as a feminist choice, erase the plight of Afghan women, and everything else in their power to gaslight the world into thinking we deserve what we’re getting in Islamic countries and communities as women. Not a word about gender apartheid or dhimmitude under Islam. And now announcing women’s rights as anti-rights! I am so grateful that people are standing up to this organization and raising their voices for every single one of us whose voice wasn’t loud enough! This is a win for all us fighting in all the different fronts to keep this world sane and our humanity intact. 🥂

This is EVERYWHERE across LGBTQ media. No one wants to report on it now that Ms Rowling has clearly won this huge battle. This Lady Of The Tides *IS* For Turning! I back JK Rowling Thanks for your tireless support of lesbians & vulnerable women. All women,in fact. @jk_rowling

Apparently out country has tremendous "soft power" purchased with our international aid. Strange then that our "soft power" wont allow us to deport a Pakistani rapist.

78 Vape Franchises are registered by Immigration NZ on the Accredited Employers List. Each able to sponsor dozens of co-ethnics who pay big for "high-skilled" jobs in Shosha-type shops 🤔 Visa Street, Akl ⬇️

The person who was hurt the second most by my transition was my mother. She might not have physical scars, but I think they took pieces of her away when they medicalized me. I feel so guilty for every time she was told to pretend that I wasn't her daughter, everytime she was gaslight for her grief. I will never forget the way she took care of me after my breasts were removed. I was in pain and afraid in a hotel room, and she was there for me, showering me and cleaning me off, helping me when I couldn't lift my arms and do it myself. I know that must have nearly destroyed her. I wanted to be destroyed. This ideology rips apart families. I wish I could go back and know what I know now.

We won’t be able to undo mass migration if we decide it was a mistake down the track. This is irreversible and likely regrettable. NZ is currently tattooing “no regerts” on its forehead.

98 Barber's shops are registered as accredited employers of 'high-skilled' migrants by Immigration NZ There is apparently no limit to the number of staff they can bring into NZ because these are "jobs Kiwis can't or won't do " obviously 🙄

“Is there just something inherent about me and the way I was born that makes it so that I will never be a woman no matter how hard I try and how much it hurts me?” Yes. It’s called being male. Being a woman isn’t about how hard you try. It’s something you either are or are not; you can’t change your sex, and I’m sorry you were lied to.

Yet another selfish man putting his fetish before his family. He blames his wife for the failed marriage not the fact he’s a Troon but it’s ok bc he loves himself now. 15 years down the drain

@RutRemy @lichthauch What did you do aside from "step over" them and photograph them? I'm not being snarky (unless you did nothing of course). Please let us know as this is a common occurrence for many of us and it's hard to break through the "don't want to get involved" barrier.

@lichthauch We literally stepped over two bodies to get my son a haircut yesterday (not bleeding, but clearly drug addled and passed out cold on a Weds afternoon). The totally surreal experience of watching people pretend not to notice. Not to care. Not to confront it, call the police, etc.

One of the strangest parts of growing older is mourning a time that no longer exists. You begin to feel a deep homesickness for a version of your life that’s gone forever, a place you can never return to. It’s a quiet, unspoken kind of longing that no one ever prepares you for. Anyone else feel this?

A question for Minister of Employment - Louise Upston. If we have 420,000 people sitting at home on unemployment benefits, why are we seeing so many recently arrived low skilled immigrants in low skilled occupations?

After 30+ years of filling those fucking Trócaire boxes giving up sweets, pocket money, and whatever loose change me Ma could guilt me out of I want every penny back. With interest. We sent billions to Africa for more mud huts and AK-47s and the place is still a dump. Meanwhile Ireland is turning into the same third-world shithole we were 'helping'. Yours sincerely. The Irish🇮🇪

The Government has just crossed a line. The decision to legally recognise Islamic marriage ceremonies inside UK mosques is not “modernisation” it’s state‑sanctioned parallel legal systems dressed up as reform. For years, politicians insisted that Britain had one marriage framework for everyone. Now they’re carving out bespoke legal pathways for specific religious groups while pretending it’s “fairness.” It isn’t. It’s fragmentation. This move doesn’t strengthen social cohesion it undermines it. It doesn’t protect women it risks trapping them in systems where community pressure can outweigh individual rights. It doesn’t simplify marriage law it politicises it.Britain should be moving toward a single, unified civic standard. Instead, the Government is bending the law to accommodate religious authorities inside places of worship, creating a precedent that will be impossible to reverse. This isn’t progress. It’s appeasement. And it’s another example of a political class too afraid to defend the principle that the law of the land should be equal.
